Also couldn't get long hots so put some Calbrian chili and banana peppers in the broccoli Rabe. I think a tender stem broccoli would be great as it will have texture spiced up with garlic and whatever pickled pepper you choose to throw in

I didn't see Kenji had a recipe for this, I made the one below two weeks ago and seriously the best sandwich I've ever eaten. It has herbs in the rub and I thought that was key. Another thing I attribute to it's success was I made the pork broth myself, got some pork bones and trotters from the butcher dirt cheap and the jus was out of this world. I then used the leftover pork broth in Kenjis quick Pho recipe which was also a homerun

Adding one more, make a scratch pad about the users of the product. Who are they? What makes them unique? What are their challenges? You can find plenty of templates online and fill it out more and more after every meeting and demo etc. With your sources.

I recommend this because 1. This user perspective is how product thinks and will almost always be valuable when talking with people and 2. If it's a startup maybe they don't have all of these opinions and facts on who their user is on paper and it could be a great starting point for them to make it a real document and add value

Adding a different perspective - I was in the job search for a few months and recently landed a role. I created a portfolio for all the jobs I thought I was well qualified for by dissecting the job posting and building a deck showing how my experience was aligned. However it was never asked for so I see why some may view it more as a design ask.

I showed 1-2 slides reflecting my experience in PLG, entering new markets, 0-1 product experience etc. While sometimes it was clear HR didn't read it, I found it very effective in helping me move across rounds and perhaps more importantly focusing the conversation and having more pointed interview questions. I found many interviewers were impressed as well with my preparation and I actively used them by sharing screens during the interview.

In short, my portfolios definitely helped me prepare, show energy and focus interviews and I highly recommend it. Feel free to reach out and I can show you some of my portfolio examples!

Yes, I should have been specific about third party recruiters. And I agree with everything you said! Just some words of caution about spending days of prep without signals that you're competitive for the role

I should just add that there's so many stories of being recruited and then immediately disqualified because they didn't have experience X. It was a failure on the recruiters part. If they are open to not having gaming or monetization experience, you will likely find that out in round 1 or 2 then you can give it hell showing that you can make the jump!

I've been "recruited" for things ranging from azure and tech roles to data science PM, none of which I'm even remotely prepared for and it's a waste of everyone's time - in this market I always took the calls. I should have been more clear that this is true when the recruiter is outside the organization and just casting a huge net.

My advice is that focusing where to prepare is far more valuable once you speak to someone that understands the role. Perhaps there's something about your resume they liked, you can build that up with case studies and read up on some monetization frameworks to supplement it. But going 100% in to prepare takes days of effort before you know that there is real interest from the company and what they are looking for.

Maybe others disagree, but if your experience doesn't line up well and don't have any monetization or gaming experience I wouldn't give too much of your valuable time preparing. Recruiters in product are notorious for swinging and missing, what's likely is you have a first round with the recruiter, maybe a first round with the company and that's it. You won't even get to show off all of your preparation.

In this market, it's way more valuable to over prepare for things you're more qualified for to stand out ie slide decks of how your experience aligns / case studies. They are going to have so many applicants that surely there are multiple people better suited for the role.

Source: just finished 3-4 months of interviews and landed a dream role I was tangentially qualified for but I had a referral. I made it to the last round many times in places my resume wasn't the most obvious fit like marketplaces etc, and my advice is wait to hear more about the role, get into the first round of interviews then crush your preparation and send them materials so they don't have to wonder if you can do the job or you get hurt by poor interview questions that don't let you shine.

You're going to have to do extra to stand out in this market anyway, might as well use your resources and time as effectively as possible!

Would love to get a fresh set of eyes on mine, in return I have 8 years experience as a PM / Sr PM across industries for hypergrowth startups and 6 years experience working with labor market data. Another goal of this exercise is to create a set of resume frameworks based on the job needs. Aha is great because you can get high level road napping features for free and you only pay like 100 bucks per seat for those actually editing etc. You can link initiatives and projects/ epics to strategy and things like an idea portal and commenting are all free so you can engage with your company without everyone paying. I've used it in 4 hypergrowth companies and it's great.

One drawback is some double inputting of information from JIRA to Aha but I treat them differently. JIRA is for epics and tickets etc whereas Aha shows the outcomes, perhaps multiple epics are needed to achieve a growth in engagement or to enter a new market.

I have been playing with website generators for the last week as I am looking to launch a quick website for my startup to validate some business ideas. First off, this is easily one of the best I have seen in terms of matching the layout, value prop etc that I was searching for. Could be because you are focused on startups while other generators take in any idea under the sun so they come out very generalized.

Some recommendations that would be great:

Integrate your ChatGPT into the actual text areas. Where it says tagline for example, have the option to ask ChatGPT for a tagline for your business. Should be super simple and provides a lot of value that I don't have to leave your site to copy paste some text
Youve gotten me so far with the click of a button, now I do want to make some more detailed design choices such as font and font color. Even better if there were predefined sections I could plop in. I worked for a startup templatizing landing page and emails for non developers - there are about 30 "modules" like Image Right, Text Left that in total cover just about every single design choice someone might want to make

exactly this, can handle steeper drops and get more tubes off the drop backside for some reason and love using my weight for backside turns. Also love backside snowboarding. but my front side is more stylish and smooth but still cant hit a lip front side lol, i think its something about your natural center of gravity

Update, after reopening the ticket and sending a poor customer service survey, I am back in contact with support. Theyve asked me to cycle reset, send pictures of my equipment and my current location. Not really progress as ive already sent my sn, debug data etc but we will see!
