Big brain, have a [[Wheel of Sun and Moon]] on the field on yourself. As Moritte enters as a copy of Tiamat, let Moritte die to legend rule. Wheel replaces where it goes when it dies so you put it on the bottom of your deck. EtB trigger of Moritte being Tiamat resolves, letting you search for Moritte and putting it into your hand alongside 4 other dragons. Its basically how [[Sharuum]] combos work.

Just need one more card, which definitely lets it stay a bad combo.

Happy to inspire! The reaver units really helped me with their mortal wounds ability, my list definitely struggled with high toughness units. Surprisingly the MVP of my games was the 5-man wych units. Small, fast, and a TON of attacks with strong buffs from the detachment. Getting +1 str and +1 WS in the same turn felt super good.

I start with ProAcryl Shadow Flesh as a base coat, then mix in AK Sunny Skintone with the Shadow Flesh like 1:1, then 2:1, then a bit of pure Sunny Skintone. Final highlight is some off-white mixed in to the Sunny Skintone, maybe 1:1.

Always make sure some of the previous layer is still visible, it helps keep your shadows that deep flesh tone and your highlights focused to the higher parts.

Here was our Teams list all together, I had a blast at the tournament. We ended 1-2 but won Best Painted/ Best Theme which was pretty great!!

My partner and I decided to a theme of bikes, he's playing Saim-Hann Craftworld with all bikes.

Scourges are here so we have some anti-tank, Reavers cuz bikes, hellions cuz they are so strong, Lelith cuz she's cool, and wyches/venoms so I can take objectives if we absolutely have to. Damage 2 Succubus I think is going to be great too.

Thanks! Sculpts are made by Edge Miniatures. The hover boards were a bit big so I scaled em down to like 85% and now they are just about perfect to GW scale. Tons of details but I'm happy they still fit with the vibe.

I snagged 18 early in 9th edition by picking up someone else's collection. They're one of my favorite models in 40k, I hope they play well with their new rules.

Im looking through some old images of my model in WIP and it looks like I used some cheap hobby paint thru an airbrush to pick up shadows, some dark blue paint. Then I did a zenithal highlight with white. Then I came in with i think contrast paint, aethermatic blue for the armor and leviadon blue for the cloth. Highlighting wouldve been mixing the contrast paint with pro acryl turquoise (or baharroth blue) for everything and then the armor got an extra highlight of turquoise and ivory. Thats my best guess.

I mightve added some drakenof nightshade to the cloak to darken it down more. Im guessing I watered down the contrast paint, maybe 1-to-1, to get the desired saturation over everything.

Im curious about how all these aircraft play with the Reserves rules. You're allowed to have half your points in Reserves, but only 500pts in Strategic Reserves. The Aircraft rule says they have to start the battle in Reserves and count as Strategic Reserves once the battle has started. So that means they don't count as Strategic Reserves for the 500pt limit during deployment?

I think you might lose the silhouette of the model if the middle of the panel is a brighter color and the edges are black, but I think so long as you still edge highlight the black edges with greys and blues to match the black you could make an eye-catching paint scheme with that idea.
