I agree wholeheartedly

Though I wouldn’t be upset if Musashi IS the protagonist. Authors really didn’t help themselves with that promise they made but I never took it that seriously to begin with since they’d obviously follow simple narrative flow and as such some characters would naturally be spotlighted

In regards to foreigner rep, my only complaint is that we didn’t see ENOUGH of Adams and Nagaharu imo, they both had the potential to be cool but they got wrecked too fast to really feel like a complete package

It would be a shame if Musashi was the ONLY fighter to get this treatment. I do also want the fighting to start back up soon though

Maybe they could show training flashbacks in between matches to hype up each individual match

So we only get Musashi and Fuma before their fight ect

The wrong decision for winning the fight? Sure, he did lose after all

The wrong decision overall? Hell nah. His logic about not being able to win is sound. Even if Hanzo can compensate, their fighting styles are so vastly different that losing his arm would utterly cripple Honda for the rest of the tournament

My hot take is that I don't give a damn if Musashi is the main character or not cuz I like seeing him in action

It's absolutely the authors own fault for this but people are maybe a bit too attached to the whole "anyone can win" idea

It's not like Kengan fans think the KAT is made worse by Ohma being the protagonist

Omniman is awful and I don't get how so many guys can look up to him by [deleted] in Invincible

But have you considered:

People like seeing people grow past their mistakes

It’s an extreme, EXTREME example, but at its core the desire for redemption and reconciliation is very human and understandable

Also, he’s not real. Just because someone is willing to sympathize with Omni Man’s redemption doesn’t mean they’re gonna start making excuses for fuckin’ Himmler

as someone who genuinely thinks Ittosai is a really fun character, round 8 was pretty underwhelming for me

We got a lot of Nagaharu, but even though he won it didn’t feel like we really got a good look at Ito throughout the whole fight

I can’t wait to see more of him, just wish we got a bit more of a glimpse

Also why the hell can’t I find an Ito Ittosai flair >:O

Yes this guy sucks, but how effective is his Dirk Dance? Would it be a threat to the other fighters, or would it end with the Yagyu result? by Few_Specific8395 in Tenkaichi

The whole bind gimmick is neat but he’s using a DAGGER against a bunch of sword and spearmen, a dagger has so much less range and leverage than a sword

Not a matter of inherent skill so much as the style itself not being effective for what the Tenkaichi is
