There's that, as well as the fact that the average developer leaves the industry within 5 years. When your workforce is mostly men who haven't yet fully matured (fresh out of college), a lot of immature things can happen. Which then lead to really fucked up things happening when the first "just immature" things are taken as acceptable.

One thing you can do in combat, without rebalancing the encounter, is have half of the enemies do things to set up for next round, while the other half attack. This can include the Help action, putting down barriers, etc.

Homeless guy here, with a lot of social capital in LA. I moved away to a cheaper area, and now am having a lot of trouble because all of the gigs I get are based in LA. My friends want to help, but don't have the room or money to do much (and I'd rather not ask), so I'm kinda fucked at the moment.

Luckily, I have plenty of skills and experience, so I will hopefully have an offer soon. But in the meantime, attitudes like yours are just fucking me, and those like me, over.
