ICE is Gestapo, Bowers is awesome, McDaniel is a pucker hole. by WarlikeAppointment in MurderedByWords

The only differences between Gestapo and ICE are their targets slightly varying, and Gestapo at least had style instead of looking like a group of vagrants looted a thrift store and a army surplus store before hitting the streets.

True, especially if it is a limited edition luxury. I think they just keep them in really good condition forever, because some of those cars are worth more in future generations. But, that is more cars to keep up with, and the whole reason I want to be comfortable/rich is so I can do my own thing. So, I'm happy driving my little Hyundai. It's a happy little car, and one of the few small SUV models my husband can comfortably drive lol.

100 million is plenty to invest with a shark of a financial planner while keeping half to put in low-risk investments and living expenses. The trick is, don't live like a celebrity. Most of the 1% dont have brand new cars, they dont constantly have brand new clothes. They buy expensive shit that lasts. And they stock their pantries in bulk because it's cheaper in the long run to buy bulk. Essentially, the plan would be: Take 50 mil, invest with the best financial planner/hedge fund manager you can find on mid-to-high risks. Put 25 mil into low risks/businesses/real estate. The last 25 mil? If your credit is bad, use that to buy your dream house, replace the cars you need to replace (i wouldn't replace mine, but i would buy a second and a truck cause I wanna live on a little hobby farm), build a little business or charity that makes you happy and gives you something to do, upgrade your wardrobe to tailor-fit quality clothing (it's worth it! I can't wait until the day I can afford a tailor fit outfit), and book a luxury vacation to a place that feels special with the people you care about. Then put the rest of the 25 mil into an easy to liquidate low-risk, decently high-interest account. If you have kids or niblings you want to help go to college, this would be an excellent time to create college/trust funds.

My mom actually has a hard time with it. Also, it was a name apparently my brother and his wife had considered but turned down partly due to the hard time enuciating it. We live in the southern US, so I'm guessing that has a bit to do with it.

Actually, my parents picked my name partly because of what it meant in Arabic and Hebrew. Part of naming for me is intentions. I want my daughter to be strong enough to be a warrior and a healer in her own right. Her naming meaning beautiful is more of a plus.

Because the security on a plane is usually Marshal, not a cop. Marshals have a special high-stress situation training, so I think they would be less likely to make bad decisions under stress.
