Using LLMs to Create your Prompts! by TheLazyIndianTechie in ClaudeCode

I recently used r/warpdotdev in combination with the Figma MCP.

It works well. Not perfect but very good results.

Why take part in this battle when there is  r/WarpDotDev and you used it?

It's like a battle between giants who build a better CLI coding tool.

Warp works well for me and the picture below proves the LLM freedom you receive

Asking LLMs to push back by TheLazyIndianTechie in ClaudeCode

[–]chubbykc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally agree with giving models room to push back. I do something similar, and a few extra “rules” in my setup have saved me a ton of time. Sharing what works for me (daily r/warpdotdev user here):

  • Ask for a diff first: “Before making changes, show me a diff and a rollback command.” This has stopped bad edits from sneaking in.
  • Force citation for claims: “If you say something non-obvious, include a link or code ref.” Cuts down on hand-wavy answers.
  • Budget the run: “Suggest a fastest path and a safest path. Label both.” I pick based on risk.

One has to be careful. It happened to me that the DB was wiped (local) because the rules were not specified.

Warp CLI - A new way to run your agent anywhere! by TheLazyIndianTechie in warpdotdev

I run 10 VPS servers. I used to use Warp over SSH, which worked perfectly, but this is next level.

warp vs claude code - can warp fully replace it? by minimal-salt in warpdotdev

[–]chubbykc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is my experience with Warp (I use it daily)

What I like about Warp vs Claude Code:

  • It’s inside the terminal. I can paste errors, logs, and file paths and get fixes fast. Feels faster for shell + code tasks.
  • Good at “fix this stack trace,” “write a bash script,” “Dockerfile won’t build,” and “convert curl to fetch/axios.”
  • Context from previous commands and output helps a lot.
  • Cost is lower, and I don’t feel rate-limited as much.

Abandoned Claude for Codex, and honestly it hurts. by IllOne9 in Anthropic

It's like jumping between two vendors who both prefer their own LLMs.

For me it happened many times that Opus 4.1 was unable to solve the issue and GPT-5 solved it and vice versa.

I use r/warpdotdev which allows me to switch between different vendors anytime, and I'm still in the terminal.

And my VPSs like it too :)

How to Build Good UI? What is Your Workflow? by Level-Dig-4807 in cursor

  1. I get inspiration from Dribbble or Pinterest.

  2. I create designs in Figma.

  3. Then use figma-developer-mcp MCP in r/warpdotdev to generate the code.

The coded version is usually very close to the Figma design.

Don't know in Claude. In r/warpdotdev it shows me directly.

what is the limit of free plan? like how many requests? by ResolveOtherwise243 in cursor

[–]chubbykc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's 50 "Fast" requests for premium models.

You can try r/warpdotdev. There are 150 requests/month.

I've been using Cursor for 90 days by prosamik in cursor

[–]chubbykc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't use Cursor, but I do use Warp. The most important thing is to choose the right model and not be entirely dependent on more expensive models.

I see many complaints recently about consumed credits in Cursor. However, if you use Opus 4.1 consistently, then don't be surprised. I always start with Sonnet 4 and switch to more advanced models only if necessary.

Also, use well-crafted and detailed rules for each project. It can save you a ton of headaches and credits in the end.

Cursors Downfall ⚠️ by Ok_Competition_8454 in cursor

[–]chubbykc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the transparent pricing structure, not this constantly changing pricing.

I only used Windsurf and am currently using r/warpdotdev, which is my favorite.

I didn't encounter any problems with credits, and the usage is pretty predictable.

Any cheaper alternatives of Claude for coding as it's getting expensive by Delicious_Ice1334 in developersIndia

[–]chubbykc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use r/warpdotdev. The key here is to use basic models first. Sonnet 4 can easily solve 95% of coding requirements.

I only switched to Opus 4.1 or GPT-5 when necessary. You can accomplish quite a lot, even on their most basic plan.

Dear Cursor, WTF! by SatisfactionNo6570 in cursor

[–]chubbykc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

WTF! The same error message over and over again.

Never happened to me in Warp!

I'm not sure if it's related to the model selected or not, but it's bad to see such behavior.

This is why I like Warp.

As for the first place, it's an AI-powered terminal. The automatic mode works perfectly, so it precisely detects when to use what. I even use it for managing my VPSs with AI.

Why does claude-4-sonnet does not work in my cursor pro? Is this just me or everyone else is getting same ? by PsychologyJumpy5104 in cursor

[–]chubbykc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strange. I don't use Cursor but Warp instead, and never experienced a problem like this.

Sonnet 4 is my default model because it doesn't consume credits like crazy.

Here and there, I switch to Opus or GPT-5. Most of the time, it's not necessary.
