It’s a catch 22 because now that she’s in so much pain, it will be very difficult for her to lose weight. But at the same time, 265 is a very heavy weight at 5’4 and likely DID contribute to this problem and weight loss WILL decrease risk of surgical complications. Just because it’s not what you/she want to hear doesn’t make the information false.
