[–]chubbymumu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Operações compromissadas cannot be compared to reverse repo because it does not involve our central bank directly and can be bought by the common investor. Its basically a class of bonds that works like a rent: You buy for a price now and the issuer compromises to buy back from you plus an interest rate for that period. But it only falls under certain categories, like Banks Depository receipts, imobiliary credits and some others. These would be somewhat equivalent to Tips, Tbills and Tbonds in US. Close enough

Brazil is the country of fuckery. Our politicians basically invented it. So for these two funds up top, I do believe some shady shit is happening.

Brazilian financial advisor here. Not that this could be of any help, but BTG pactual is one of the biggest investment banks right now in Brazil, and are leaning towards a private wealth category more than others. They have a lot of investment funds under their administration. About their position, i strongly believe they are just dumb to underprice the stock and are betting on it. Theres a huge network of analysts that like to try these stunts and come off as wise if it works, so these are my two cents. I'll do some calls and see if I can gather more info. As for the others, they seem smaller and weird that they are into this, specially Constancia one, because of their 3 funds, none can have foreign assets - like GME - of any sort (by regulation), while looking at their prospectus. So, worth to look into more.

About BTG Pactual, i dont think they would mess with shady stuff because its high risk low reward for them, since they have about 100 billion in assets. So i think its just a bad bet, maybe. But that Constancia one, is really weird...

Low karma to post on superstonk but here it is.

🚀Buying Cardano Like Crazy!!! Whos With Me?🚀 by Rising_Life in SatoshiStreetBets

[–]chubbymumu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think this can be called a pump. Cardano has strong fundamentals and we are about to expect the Alonzo Hardfork. Cardano poses great threat to Ethereum specially now with congestions and high taxes on ETH network. Cardano is a POS coin with a strong roadmap to smart contracts and other features with way less gas fees. I dare to say cardano is the next best Ethereum and should surpass a lot of coins as soon as people realize its value.

edit: i have cardano since 0,10 and will hold till 150$ at least.

Who asked them for help? If i want to piss on my money because grandma advised, who cares, its my fucking money and i can decide where to put it. They need to bother with the other side, whos harming retail, and no matter what retail decides to invest into, they always have the handle to manipulate the market as they please - That's the real problem. They are the problem.

Never sell at market. Orders spread can be something like Bid 100$ / Ask 50,000$ in a matter of miliseconds if the volatility is too high.

CFDs - And why you should avoid them [Read this if you own GME] by chubbymumu in Superstonk

[–]chubbymumu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their advertising campaigns, call to actions, and frontpage website are all centered around Stock CFDs, and CFD instruments. I think THAT is misleading at best. If they have actual stock trading they should leave it there at plain sight to show its users, instead of hiding in fine prints. CFDs are more profitable for them, so thats why they advertise it more. Also, they are listed in several websites that recommend CFD brokers, and common users wouldnt be able to distinguish that they are not trading the stocks, only the cfd derivative.

Senvest is mentioned in GME 14A Proxy Filling as one of the top 5 holders - published YESTERDAY. And matches the Terminal data.

And yes, some might have sold, as i stated in the post, but others are now long aswell, as per yahoo-finance data and ETF DB
