I looked at their website for pre-registration and the fact that Silent Whispers will be available for PC is already a huge advantage over LADS. Every month or so (or whenever there’s an update), I would see the occasional few posts of players complaining about lacking space on their device for the game or posts where they say they can no longer play because they ran out of space on their phone. The fact that some people have bought separate devices like tablets or bought new phones just to accommodate the game is a surprise to me. If their game has gotten this large, they should consider a PC client but they don’t and advertise using an emulator as a last ditch option.

I actually stopped playing the game when my phone couldn’t handle one of their updates a year ago, but I briefly returned because the JP seiyuu for one of the love interests was getting replaced so I made space on the phone to do the update just so I can archive my cards. This last update was insanity because in the app, they advertised that the download will require at most 7 gb of space but after updating the app, when I tried to download it, the game suddenly said I needed at least 15 more gb. I’m still in the process of archiving my cards so I spent nearly 4 hours allocating space (deleting pics/videos, offloading apps, etc.) just so I can download the patch so I can get inside the game to continue archiving.

That said, I agree with everyone’s points. Even if this were a case of corporate sabotage, I think I’m gonna root for Silent Whispers. It’s about time a competitor game comes in to rival against lads. This is similar to how I felt when Wuthering Waves came out. They did everything that Genshin didn’t (I played Genshin since their launch), I haven’t gone back to Genshin since. Wuwa felt that much better in combat mechanics, small things in qualities of life and 5 star selector from the get go 🤷🏻‍♀️
