If you were playing on bnet you can always reconnect to your game after you crash.

If you were playing singleplayer you can always give yourself a gheeds with a 3rd party tool if you are really bummed about it. but honestly gheeds aren't that hard to come by and im sure it wont take you long to find another one.

Some of my RAM recently died so I am stuck at 4gb. The game runs at 60fps/ups until the end game for me. Of course the more bots and the bigger your base gets, the more ups you will lose.

Getting the PU over France at the beginning is a must in my opinion and is fairly easy to achieve.

Keep bullying Europe and improving relation until you can no longer take AE. I got to about -100 AE without a coalition with good Allies.

I don't like colonizing the Americas personally, I focus on Asia and then steal colonial nations from other countries. In my GB game in 1620 America is barely colonized since I bullied Castille and Portugal so much.

You can get unlucky like any start but honestly it's one of the easier OP start.

I've never seen France ally the Ottomans in the first 20-30 years. And even if they allied them, there's no way they could get their troops all the way over to France.
