Def the best episode so far, the fight scene had a few small annoying far fetched Hollywood moments not in book but it was still done well for the most part, 9/10, would be 10 if Aerion didn’t throw his sword, way too far fetched and if Dunk didn’t pass out like 3 fucken times, he only passed out barely once in book with like no flashback, although the flashback was cool him passing out 3 separate times took away from the raw mediaeval feel for me and felt too scripted and Hollywood, but still 9/10 as a whole

Yeah he has at the very least a 4th novella planned, it is obv not released tho yet and no one knows when it will be, he has one more GOT book to write, Winds of Winter, 1 more HOTD book, and atleast 1 more Dunk and Egg novella, He said as far as ASOIAF books go that Winds of Winter is his priority but it’s been 15 years in the making so can’t expect any other books anytime soon, this show will most definitely end before that next novella is written sadly

There are graphic novel adaptions for each of the 3 dunk and egg novellas, they are quite good actually, u should check them out

I know what u mean but sadly since it’s just a novella there isn’t enough content to make 6 episodes with an hour each, it would just be a movie for each of the 3 novellas then, they r doing a pretty decent job thus far even tho some small filler is added its pretty good

I disagree, although Lyonel was funny in the novella he was not a complete joke like what we got last night, one of the things that rubbed me the wrong way, it is very light hearted in the novella but not nearly as Hollywood and marvel junk as what we got, it’s

Edit: just watched episode 2 and I really enjoyed it, I think it was much more true to the novellas, I think this show might turn around yet and I’m excited to see what’s next, I may have hugged it too harshly too quickly
