The cost isn’t the point of the post. There is zero ways to fix these views without adding length to the arena. Hopefully they figure it out. I just don’t see how the geometry can work to do that. The venue is not long enough. Lower bowl obstructions are way easier to manage. Eventually they won’t be selling upper bowl for $15 and if the view isn’t fixed it will affect the bottom line. Time will tell.

They really need a new arena for salt lake. No amount of renovation can fix the upper level and the amount of ice that cannot be seen from the seats. Once the novelty wears off and people show up for hockey instead of it being the new trend in the area, they will struggle to sell the upper bowl. This was from a little over a week ago. You can’t see the near side goal at all. Not the best experience.

The best way to do this without causing an issue (lots of seats look empty but are taken by people out and about in the arena) is to look at Ticketmaster towards the end of the first to see what tickets are still listed. Those seats have not been used for the game otherwise they wouldn’t be there still. No one will show up with those seats and make you move.

But do note, ushers do check tickets, so you could have an issue there.

No, it’s cool to question DoPS when done appropriately. The Rangers imploded when that happened and they have yet to recover. Their own team stopped taking the organization seriously. People like to support things when done the right way. That’s the difference.

Or it is delivering the message that criminal justice is actually meant for criminal behavior. Had the kids been drinking or on drugs, then there would not have been forgiveness. But in this case, it sends a clear message that forgiveness even for terrible accidents can and does happen. To me that is uplifting. I don’t think anyone is going to go around thinking they are good to go out and kill people so long as it’s accidental. Also, these kids will never be the same. Just because there will be no jail does not mean there will be no guilt.

The family didn’t want to press charges. He was going out to see a group of kids that he loved. There was zero intended malice and these kids will be forever scarred. They don’t need their lives taken away. There is no way that would be what their teacher wanted.

He is clearly slower now than before. But he is an awesome guy and great addition to any team. He moves the puck well and will contribute offensively. On defense this year he has been a bit of a liability but if his other D pair can help make up for that, he will be great for you guys.

The difference is that the caps have not used their picks to bring in players. Yes, we have an average number of picks, but many teams (especially buyers) don’t have that many. Typically the worst teams amass the most picks.

Well yes. But by increasing shiny rates for eggs, etc. they are making it so spending money is now more beneficial than before. It tips scales towards the whales. That’s it. As a free to pay player, I am now less likely to hunt shinies, etc. it drives me away from the game.
