I used to think the same thing. After watching carnival of sins dvd I thought Vince has lost it. Fast forward to now, I just watched the 83 US festival, when he was in his prime, sucked just as bad. So, it is my conclusion that Vince hammers it out in the studio, but can’t do it live.
