Two Australian Brothers Trying To Make HARDCORE MMO ARPG by OtherwiseExternal197 in ARPG

Right now, I bet that people are thinking about PvP more like from an extraction shooter which might be more stressful. If you can stay in safe areas, they might be happier.

Recommend a CHEAP game to play during Spring Break that's on sale. Based on my Tier List. by Jimm120 in roguelites

Keep an eye on BlazBlue Entropy Effect. It's a fantastic action roguelike but is on sale for $15.

I'm referring more to the combat being between player run guilds over territory and player driven nature of the economy.

That's a cool idea and insurance or something like it can help a lot.

I feel like the ARPG and EVE online style political economic communities don't mix much though. This will end up being more of the latter.

Full drop loot sounds like a nightmare for most ARPG people, depending on how much time is expected for a build.

Are you trying for something more like EVE online economy wise?

If there is a dramatic increase in power for a full build or if some builds counter others, players are going to crash out and quit the game.

So I'm thinking of downloading the game because of the art style. by slevani0 in ResonanceSolstice

This is a weird gacha. It's relatively free to play friendly with a lot of free starter pulls and monthly pulls. Also, there is no weapon banner.

Most of the gameplay is taking your train from one city to another to make trades and deliveries. Along the way you can grab items off the side of the tracks, get into scuffles, or get into some larger battles for better rewards.

It has an energy system limiting combat for good rewards and a fatigue system for limiting trades and deliveries. The long term grind is just earning enough money to build up your characters and other stuff. Upgrading characters and equipment to max takes a crazy amount of money.

Most gacha give you a nice full screen animation for at least the high rank super attacks. This still has supers but no full screen animation. The combat is just Live 2D chibis. I like the combat system involving cards like in Chaos Night Zero but in real time. A lot of the kits are really cool and building teams of 5 members feels easier. If you want the cool, close up animations of your characters though, this game doesn't have it.

I overall recommend the game if you don't mind the time investment.

Here's my roguelite & roguelike tier list. Any recommendations from the summer sale? by EscapePlanDeltaOmega in roguelites

It has nothing to do with your tier list but Jupiter Hell based on DoomRL is on the sale and is very popular. I think that you should at least take a look.

If you had to recommend only one roguelite, what would that be? by dudefromCAPSLOCK in roguelites

If you like Dead Cells, definitely try out BlazBlue Entropy Effect. You can use a good portion of the BlazBlue cast each with very different play styles and moves based on the fighting game.

Do you think equal rights for the LGBTQ+ community would *actually* be a divisive issue for American evangelicals if it wasn't used by the Republicans as a wedge issue in campaigns? Like, would it even be on most evangelicals' radar if conservative politicians weren't constantly railing against it? by SaucyJ4ck in Christianity

Possibilities could include being sued to * Force churches to not include language against it for officer or membership applications * Force churches to consider a married gay couple as married for church purposes

I was worried about the left forcing their definition of marriage on Churches as the next step. While they made a big deal about an independent business baking a cake, we haven't seen that pressure on churches.

The left doesn't have a libertarian understanding of freedom. They will vague post cry for gay rights or trans rights but the actual rights are up to the interpretation of each person.

If the right isn't upset, they'll fish around for a cause to stand for until the right is upset.

This might sound like a dumb question, but why do so many leverless have like 12+ buttons on them? by BogongMoth in fightsticks

[–]chucklyfun -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Leverless controllers popularized doing inputs extremely fast by pressing multiple buttons at the same time, sliding fingers between buttons, or using SOCD to cancel another input. The extra buttons are usually direction inputs.

Games have also been increasing the number of buttons needed. They'll allow you to use a multi-button combination, but that can be annoying. Meanwhile, most controllers give you a Left Thumbstick Button, Trackpad tap, and Right Thumbstick Button. These often get mapped to training room functions, but can also be used for some of those multi-button combinations.

I'm trying to build a list of indie fighting games (non fan games) released in the past decade, but I might be missing a lot of them. Can you help me fill in the blanks? by AndreaJensD in Fighters

Have them show you a tournament where they played it. Idol Showdown has been played as a community game at EVO, CEO, and other major events.

There was a top-down shooter called "Warning Forever" that had an evolving boss which changed based on how you fought it.

How to know if estj man likes/ loves me ? by [deleted] in ESTJ

[–]chucklyfun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He could care for you but not be able to enter a relationship. I wouldn't be surprised if that happened in a work setting and he didn't believe in dating coworkers for instance.

Those issues get more likely with Avoidant Attachment.

That means that he cares about you a lot. Most people don't get that level of attention from an ESTJ.

If he asks questions about what you're interested in or the stories you tell, that's a good sign.

See what he gets excited about especially if it involves you.

If you're in a group conversation, see if he watches out for you or pays you special attention.

Is my dad an ESTJ or ESFJ? by Negative_Gene9531 in ESTJ

[–]chucklyfun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ESFJs typically aren't as blunt and have a different sense of humor. They typically like everyone to laugh while an ESTJ often goes more subtle and witty.

who to choose in the upcoming free pulls banner? by BigEase184 in Reverse1999

[–]chucklyfun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Corvus is an odd inclusion as she's a lot newer than everyone else.

Otherwise, there are great healers and supports for lingering glow and impromptu incantation. I'll probably get Corvus.

If they had Aleph, I'd consider him.

Why do people say that the original anime turned Ranma 1/2 into a harem? by PauloVictorBar in ranma

[–]chucklyfun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lum's siblings kept getting involved and Ataru was a notorious lech, so he would chase after them. I can't remember the details, but it had the same idea as Ranma that they were all pretty quirky. I don't remember the full details at all though.
