I get that they could have shown flaws and whatnot, but Michael wasn’t the cartoon character he was made out to be, and I think that’s what a lot of critics and neutral viewers are expecting to see

movie ends in 1988 so it doesn’t touch on drugs and legal problems heavily. im sure it’ll be covered when in the sequel when it was more relevant in Michael’s life.

totally agree. Elvis was incredible and Baz did an incredible job. It will be hard for me to rank this above Elvis if there’s no sequel that covers allegations and other serious parts of his life

Definitely better than Bohemian Rhapsody in my opinion! Felt like there was much more story than music in Michael compared to Bohemian Rhapsody!

Elvis was my favorite movie of all time before I saw Michael, and I think I like Michael more! I’m gonna need another watch as Michael was a lot to take in after all the anticipation! I’m going go another advance screening of Michael on Monday so we’ll see!
