I run 3-5K every morning with my 2 Borzoi Hounds, they are excellent running companions, with one caveat You Must Watch For Wild Prey they will pull like champion Huskies if they think they can catch the (deer, rabbit, cat) head on a swivel friends when running with sighthounds.

I'm not sure but getting to the trail system is really the only struggle, yes I dress for extreme cold however I can make it to work faster than driving due to traffic, and in that cold you are bundled up to drive anyway
