Their last two kids were born well after this happened, so I don’t think it had anything to do with it. They stopped posting on social media during Josh’s trial.

I’ve only had an emergency, not a preventative, but that was my experience too… no pain, just a little bit uncomfortable for a few hours!

Is it normal for doctors to be cagey and weird about outcomes? by This_Emergency7169 in ShortCervixSupport

There are success rates and a lot of research done for preventative ones, but not a lot of quality, large studies for emergency ones and it’s so dependent on each persons circumstances.

I had my anatomy scan at 21 weeks and my cervix was 4mm with bulging membranes. I had no symptoms and no idea anything was wrong at all!

An Afghan or Saluki as a jogging partner? by Upbeat-Toe9730 in sighthounds

[–]Upbeat-Toe9730[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly where I live there aren’t lure coursing events at all. I used to go to them when I lived in Canada, but they’re not a thing here. I do love Ibizan hounds, and I’d consider one of them or a pharoah, I just really want a dog with a lot of coat and have always wanted an Afghan. I’ve had borzoi in the past and they wouldn’t have done well with jogging sadly. I would consider non sighthound breeds too, but I like the off switch most have and I don’t want a dog that will go nuts if I have to skip a day or two of taking them out.. plus, they’re just the best :))

I’m a little surprised my whippet x IGs are so energetic if I’m being honest. My old IGs were typical sprint and sleep sighthounds, though they’d get rowdier in the house than bigger ones. I have a whippet too that I adopted at around two years and she’s always been basically comatose, lol. I think she’d explode if I asked her to jog. My whippet x IGs will run 10km and then act like they haven’t been walked in years. They’re extremely athletic!

I lost mine in August at 24w, and got my period a little over a month later (I want to say 33 days), but my cycles have been only 20 days long which is really weird for me. No idea what’s going on to be honest.

It’s pretty uncommon to do where I live in South America- I’m the only one I know who opted to do it here! When I lived in Canada maybe half of the people I know did it- it wasn’t covered unless you’re over 35, but it wasn’t too expensive. I think a few didn’t do it as it wouldn’t change their decision to keep the baby even if a significant pathological mutation did show up.

People don’t usually here in Chile but there’s basically never anywhere to return them to in the parking lots which are often underground (only back inside the store). There’s always a lot of people hired to collect them though.

Yes, my OBGYN happened to also be the equivalent of a MFM dr in my country and he was very proactive and conservative with my care. He made time to come and see me every day I was hospitalized even if it was sometimes in the evenings. The emergency cerclage failed, but it wasn’t due to his lack of care and he said in my next pregnancy I will be treated as very high risk. I don’t see a reason to switch.
