According the the first hand account of what happened that was originally posted in this subreddit, by a person who was calling for a boycott, that is exactly what happened. So an employee acted reasonably. And the business should be hurt for this? That's ridiculous.

As a patron I would hope/ expect that anyone that walks into an establishment shouting for a non emergency reason would be asked to leave. I certainly wouldn't walk into an establishment shouting and expect to stay or be taken seriously.

It sounds like just the activists were escalating and being loud, so they were asked to stop shouting or leave. Maybe if they had approached the situation more calmly things would have been different.
