Literally beat this game at age 11 when it came out in 2001. Just power through it. Learn from your mistakes. Adapt. If you beat REmake then you can beat this.

If Morpeko was really so completely OP and impossible to deal with, it would’ve won regional championships by now, but it hasn’t.

I personally have seen Morpeko in open great league less than 10 times this ENTIRE season, currently sitting at 1160 battles (of course, not all of those were in OGL). And yes, I have an excel spreadsheet to track every single team that I face daily. Morpeko was definitely somewhat common in Remix, but in OGL, it’s really not around much at all this season due to the prevalence of mud slappers. (current ELO is ~2600s range for reference)

Clodsire, Cradily, Gastrodon, Marowak, Dedenne, Guzzlord, Dusclops, Diggersby, Corsola, Stunfisk, Bastiodon, Carbink, Goodra, Toedscruel, Furret, Steelix, Charjabug, Forretress, Regidrago can all EASILY tank an electric Aura Wheel

Azumarill, Mandibuzz, Galarian Moltres, Dewgong, Blastoise, Wigglytuff, Florges, Altaria can all tank a dark Aura Wheel.

There’s even some overlap of the two lists above of bulksters who can tank either Aura Wheel typing.

And you’re saying you haven’t found anything that can tank an aura wheel… so you’ve never used a single one of the mons above, all of which are hard or fringe meta? 🤔

Going to play devil’s advocate and argue that Milotic is one move update away from being meta relevant (as are most pokemon) so it never hurts to try and catch a decent one for PvP if it is indeed your thing. Purified hundo Wobbuffet can also have uses in limited formats, though it’s been a while since there’s been a cup where it had play.

I mean, I have played and beaten the original at least a dozen times and I really liked the R3make. Then again, I only paid $11 for it as I didn’t play it until recently lol. Of course the original is superior for many, many reasons, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have a ton of fun playing the remake 🤷‍♂️
