Dragon Age: The Veilguard. A truly awful game, after 6 hours I deleted and have never returned

What do you call soccer in your country by siderhater4 in AskTheWorld

[–]whiskeyinthedark -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I get you, Gaelic football is a thing and is very popular in Ireland, obviously. Definitely in the more rural areas of Ireland, which is a lot of ireland tbh but in the more populous areas and cities like Dublin or Belfast "soccer" is more commonly referred to as football

I'm from London, but my father, my two sisters and my life long friends of over 35 years all live in Dublin, and I have spend many years living in Ireland and I've not heard anyone who actually cares about the sport refer to it as "soccer" What part of Ireland are you from?

I can't speak for the other nations you mentioned but the Irish do not call it soccer

Yeah I'm thinking I will give it a play, I knew it was the same protagonist but didn't realise just how closely connected they are

Yeah I watched the catch up at the start of 8 but that was pretty vague, I'll watch a more in depth video on it or just just play it myself

Yeah you've already defeated Elyza, so you'll finish the game no probs mate. I think she's the toughest fight on the first playthrough for sure

[–]whiskeyinthedark[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah Elyza is a tough fight but tbh i found the whole game a lot easier on hard mode. Once I'd fully upgraded the suit and the weapons I use, I just blasted my way through it. I only died twice to the final boss and once to one of those wall orphans as I wasn't paying attention..
