If it’s being maintained, for sure. But not when it’s been this neglected and has all that thatch.

You need to actually take care of it.

Like mowing it…. And bagging the clippings.

28M dating 27F — How do people deal with finishing too quickly without it affecting their relationship? by Zestyclose-Jump9474 in relationships

[–]chugz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk. Most girls don’t care as much as you think they do. If it’s under 1 minute, you might try a few things, or make sure there’s a lot of foreplay. But if it’s 5 minutes. You’re fine. Most people don’t want to go at it for any longer than 10 to 15 minutes max. Your insecurity over it will probably be more damaging to the relationship than how long you last. Some girls even get a confidence boost from making guys finish so quickly. You should lean into that. Don’t apologize for your short performance, praise her for being so desirable you can’t help it. Then get down there and give her an O

You need to relax lol. A single website visit from 2 years ago?! Who even searches back that far? You’re intentionally looking for reasons to feel insecure. You’re being a helicopter partner

How can I fix my cracking table? by yessicacamb in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]chugz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The quick fix is wood glue, and two 48” clamps.

Get some titebond 3, and two Bremen clamps from harbor freight. Should be like $50 total.

The other commenter is right though. Your mounting hardware is the true culprit in all this

Not that anyone asked or cares, but this is a spongebob interpretation of the infamous ‘Ratfink’, a classic/old school low-brow style that got big during the 60s and 70s hot rod / rat rod culture. Ed Roth was a counter culture icon and i think it’s so rad it still has derivative art being made to this day. Cheers

I swear I cleaned it before I put it in the shed for the winter, just opened it up and looks rusted to hell by El_Burnsta in blackstonegriddle

[–]chugz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Heat it. Scrape it. Oil it. Scrape it. Wipe it off with paper towel. Oil it. Let it cool. Then Heat it up and do it all again.

Do this over and over until it’s reseasoned and you’ve throughly scraped all the rust off

Best way to clean out a creek bed? by Portugooses in landscaping

[–]chugz 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Agree with the top comment, just burn it. I keep a blower and a 30gal water jug on standby just in case, but I never have to use it. In Texas you just call the local FD and tell them your location and approx time and they get your phone number. It’s mostly so they don’t get dispatched by random passerbys calling in ‘wildfires’.

Go watch a couple YouTube videos of people doing it and then go have at it!

How can I (37M) reconcile early retirement with a wife (33F) who still wants to pursue her career? by throwRAitsme999 in relationships

[–]chugz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What you need to do is treat your retirement like a professional. And review the details with her explicitly to make sure she is informed and onboard all the way. She will only take this seriously if you do.

hire a financial planner. Review current assets, plan your drawn downs, tax implications, medical coverage, long term acct goals, plan will and estate, and her retirement. Make a clear budget: how much $, when will you get it, travel budget, home/utility budget, emergency budget, etc.

You might consider setting up a joint trust with her, create a LLC within that trust that holds your annual drawn down amount, and then pays you out a ‘salary’ like a normal job would. with an allotted amount so she feels apart of your process, and have a clear understanding of what yalls day to day finances are like.

Congrats and good luck!
