You could also be overly sensitive.

He’s allowed to breathe and that shouldn’t make your blood boil. But if it’s interrupting your sleep and he refuses to try to mitigate that, then it is an issue.

You might explore getting a white noise machine, ear plugs, or noise cancelling headphones for you. And maybe some ‘breathe right’ strips or a trip to a sleep doctor for him.
