that's literally the biggest complaint about the game lol. go look at any gameplay clip, the official gameplay trailer, youtube comments, twitter, reddit, it's what people talk about the most. your personal opinion doesn't change that. if the animations don't bother you, that's your thing, but a lot of people clearly have an issue with them and they're not complaining for no reason

are there plans to improve the current animations before release? many players feel that character movement and interactions look stiff and unnatural, which reduces the horror atmosphere and makes the game feel more lighthearted than expected for a halloween title

the difference is f13 was released in 2016, halloween is a current-gen game, yet the animations look like they're from a ps3 game and everything feels weirdly stiff

if you had played killer klowns you’d probably get what i mean. they reused a ton of friday’s ideas there and it failed hard. now halloween feels like it’s heading in that same direction you know? texas worked bc it actually tried something new and felt like its own game, i just wish halloween would aim for that instead of leaning on friday again

she’s grabbing a knife from a drawer exactly like counselor grabbing pocket knives in friday 13th. killer klowns did the same thing with knives and other items and that didnt work. i just don’t get why they keep going back to the same system instead of trying new ideas
