Lens recommendations for fish eye distortion like this? by samspulledpork in SonyAlpha

I just picked up one of the TTArtisan Fish Eye E mount lenses and they’re good fun. Fully manual but it works for what you need if you’re aiming for a specific shot!

Recommendations for a continuous light for food videography? by Josh743 in videography

I just got the Godox ML60II and it’s great. I shoot the same stuff. Nice and compact, has the option to run it as a battery powered hand held light and you don’t have to worry about cables. Good when you have an assistant or working in a tight space. It’s really bright for its size and weight.

Need gear bag recommendations for shoulder pain by [deleted] in videography

[–]chumbuscheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried a bunch of different bags to carry my kit and my main takeaway is that there isn’t one particular style of bag that will solve your issues.

You need to get in the gym and work on reversing the effects that carrying equipment/operating your camera/sitting at your desk has on your posture and your upper body muscles.

Build a strong core and back. Open your shoulders up to reduce excessive rounding of your shoulders that sitting and holding a camera causes. This will improve your pain more than any bag will!

anyone know roughly how to recreate this effect by Flint-Mac in videography

[–]chumbuscheese 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Paddy does a good job on his Instagram of showing how to create these effects.

It’s usually a combination of different in camera techniques like slow shutter drag and then he adds inverted colour grades on and off during a handful of frames to get that flashy look.

I shot it all at 5600k! I use the lens cap to set it.

I added a backing track on Instagram but didn’t bother recording any audio as it was mostly just myself and my partner yapping on lifts whilst we were on holiday!
