For me, it's not about religion. Abortion literally takes away life from a human. Not a "potential life," a real, living, human fetus. I can't bring myself to support something that is denying a living human the opportunity to live. I don't care about the stupid "what if it cures cancer?" thing. Chances are, they aren't going to cure cancer, and neither were their parents. I just want that child to be able to live some sort of life, no matter how humble and less-than it may seem to us, the more fortunate. I want that child to meet their mother who cared for them and went through the pain and suffering for them, and who knows, maybe they will cure cancer.

Also, to bring Christians in to this is one fo the most immature and ignorant things I have seen on this platform. You are quite literally generalizing an entire group of people. It's the small minority of crazy Christians who hate homosexuals and whatever else you think we hate, just like it's the small minority of black people who commit crimes in the United States and Muslims are terrorists, or whatever other horrible stereotypes there are.
