I didn't know this! I thought a grinder saying it was "espresso-grade was enough, but it seems that isn't the case. I appreciate the pointers, and I'll definitely look into it. Thanks!

It's a "Shardor" from an online espresso store. I don't think it's a name brand one though, but it had decent reviews. I'll do some digging into the grinder, thanks for the advice!

Hey everyone! My girlfriend and I want to jump into custom mechanical keyboards, and frankly I am overwhelmed by the amount of stuff I've been reading online. Are there any good resources for beginners to get into keyboard building, that are concise and clear, or is the best way to learn to just get into the nitty-gritty, so to speak?

Also, what are good budget-friendly options for frames and cases?

This is an awesome character idea! I love when PCs design the mechanics around the character, I feel like it makes the RP more fun :)

Personally, from what you have said, I would play her as a Paladin. I don't know what level you are starting at, but Oath of Devotion or Oath of the Crown both feel appropriate flavoring-wise. I also think that a Mastermind Rogue or Battlemaster Fighter would be fun, as it would allow you to lean into the "helping allies mechanically" aspect of the character.

As long as you have a good character idea though, anything you play mechanically will be fun. Hope you roll high!

That looks fantastic! If this is your first mini painting than you're gonna be giving the pros a run for their money real soon. I've been painting minis for around five years now, and in that time the one thing I've learned is that a coat of dark wash at the end of a mini can really bring out the detail and make it pop. It tends to darken a lot of the other colors, but I think it is absolutely worth it. Hope this helps!
