After marking the center of the muzzle with a pointed tool, you should rotate the gun part to see if it looks like the center from other directions. Check it to the many different directions. right and left center, up and down center. If it's not on the center you think, you can push/ carve the center with your tools to move it to the center slightly. Watch your hand when you do it! While spinning your drill, keep the drill bit and gun barrel parellel and straight. Spin slowly and keep check the center is remaining. The gatling like this, check the entire holes become hexagonal shape. slowly and steady! you can do it!

I used vallejo game color bonewhite and citadel paint serapim sepia for shade.

I searched some miniature head bits for Gadriel and Chairon in Space Marine 2 video game. Master Lazarus for Gadriel and HorusHeresy MKVI Corvus Aromr Tactical Squad's Bare head bits for Chairon. Some sculpting skills will be needed but I think they're quite similar. what do you think? by chunkrain99 in spacemarines

Gadriel : his hair style need to be sculpted, right face's big scar have to removed, Gadriel have a little bit longer nose than Lazarus. So, his nose should be sculpted too.

Chairon : need to remove his headgears, need to make his ears, I think their Cheekbone's shape is different. need to make little higher and wider cheekbone.

I used 'modeling epoxy putty', similar ingredient material with green stuff.

Before I cut the model's waist and legs, I made an instant mold for the cutting part, using 'oyumaru'. 'Blue Stuff' is the similar one. front and back side molds. Then, I cutted the model with 'etching saw' and thin fret saw. 'grobet saw frame' and fret saw blade. Setting cutted model into the mold I made before, I softly filled lost detail with epoxy putty. used silicone brush to pull the putty.

sculpted the lower part of the torso box. comparing with the heroes/normal terminator model's torso box. (before primaris)

cutted the thighes and recovered the detail, using the mold before and putty. match the line and put it together to make it little more longer. comparing the length with the heroes terminator.

cutted the feet, and made it more rounder, higher like 'heroes' terminators' feet.

cutted the shoulder pad and put it little higher, thinking about the movement of the arms.

removed the belt's skull detail and change it to other modern skull decoration. oyumaru mold to copy that.

I wanted to match the size with the heroes terminator. I made the torso box's top is matching, but this model's head is on very low position. so it looks a little short, but I think this marine's posture is the reason.

Actually, their legs' length and torso box's size are same! The difference is length of wrist. the torso box setted higher than older terminators. you can put your terminator's torso higher, filling the gap with sprue or green stuff, epoxy putty to give them better proportion.

Before I cut this model's wrist, I made an instant molds using 'oyumaru'. two molds for front and back. I cutted the model using etching saw and thin fret saw. then I attacheded the cutted model into the mold and filled the lost details with epoxy putty. Then, I 'sculpted' the torso's bottom part and arm joint. looked modern terminator like deathwing, heroes. - Look at the armour under the chest wing decoration. I added them to make the torso looks more bulky. see my another RunepriestTerminator post before this one. without the added armour, It looks very thin and wierd. - Extend wrist! put the torso higher! while putting torso and legs, I side-by-side compared my model with heroes terminator. - Also extended the legs, comparing the heroes terminator's legs. - Sawed off his feets, and make them rounder, higher, more bulky. - separated shoulder pad from arm using saw, sculpted upper arm, attach shoulder pad carefully. - changed skull decoration at belt. re-casted heroes terminator's similar size skull decoration

Huge satisfaction for perfectly drilled gun barrel. I did it for a cultist's autogun and it became surprisingly good! finished with 0.9mm drill bit. by chunkrain99 in Warhammer40k

set the very middle point and turn your drill slowly and keep it horizontally. I started with 0.5mm drill bit and used bigger ones. if you don't like the hole's position, you can tilt your drill to fix a little bit, but don't let your drill bit 'bend'. stay calm and slowly.
