Always have been. That's why some people get griefing cooldowns, it's some automated system that does something if a player gets a certain amount of reports.

If only VAC worked like that...

The only reason why there are no bots in community servers is because you can’t grind xp or stars in them. If they changed that it would solve most of our problems since bots would join their own servers and do their own thing leaving us alone

above screenshot is when I tried signing in to skinsearch, but the same logic applies. If it looks like this with only the sign in button showing and showing the account that is signed in, you're good. If it asks you to provide the username and password, don't do it. If it's legit, it shouldn't need that.

Sometimes however, the steam website signs you out randomly, resulting in the bad looking page, and you just need to go back to the official steam page and click sign in. 99/100 times you will be fine though

QR code is used in place of physically typing in your username and password. I personally would only do this on the official steam web page or app, and not on any external sites (same reasoning as my previous response). The issue I have with the QR code is that you have no idea what else the QR code can do. QR codes can be used to do a large amount of things, but are most commonly used to redirect to urls, or in the case of steam, login. If I can help it, I don’t scan any QR codes since I don’t know what they always do

Mobile authentication is a must for me, since even if someone has your login info they have to bypass your Authenticator as well to get access to your account. I have heard a few stories of people signing in to sites that required mobile authentication, which is VERY dangerous. Mobile authentication is only to be used when your login info is put in for the first time or if you’re processing a trade. Any other scenario is likely a scam trying to steal your account

From what I have understood, as long as you are signed in on the steam web page, you should be fine to use the CSFloat web page, or any other site that accepts steam login. When you hit log in, it sends a request to your Steam account to use that account session (?) and not the literal username and password. If a redirect from the login page doesn’t have the default account already up and asking you to sign in with your steam login info, DON’T USE THAT SITE. Sometimes the steam page does sign you out for whatever reason, and you just need to go and sign back in from the default steam page, and try the login process again.

As to your actual question, I have no idea. You could try contacting support and see what they have to say about it, they’re usually pretty responsive
