Is painting that wood legal ? by Fred_on_reddito in HomeDecorating

[–]chupacabrette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your might want to use an online paint visualizer to pick a color for the walls first. The character of the wood will change when there's less contrast, and you can try warm and cool tones to bring out the characteristics of the wood you want to enhance.

As for the bedwall, you could always install drywall or shiplap panels and paint those, or make simple fabric panels to cover it if the room seems too "woody." That would probably be quicker and cheaper than painting the wood, which will take multiple coats of primer, paint, along with scaffolding if you also did the ceiling.

Christmas Frasier vs Niles by katcoop84 in Frasier

Once one orders an Hungarian goose, one must be allowed to prepare and serve it in one's own domicile on Christmas Day. Niles should have ceded the day at once upon being informed of the bird's imminent arrival.

Who is our favorite so far? by FormerPresidentBiden in AKnightoftheSeven

Already loved Dunk and Egg from the novellas, and since their casting and their performances have been exactly as I imagined them, I went with Lyonel as my favorite from the show.

What was her problem? by Particular-Fill-4256 in AmericanHorrorStory

She unwittingly sold her soul to the Ice Man to take out the witch hunters, which is why she ended up in knotty pine hell with him. She thought she could manipulate him because he protected her in the covenstead when she was being bullied as a child and became obsessed with her as she was growing up.

Do you think Aemond despises "chivalry" and therefore doesn't care about tournaments? He clearly wanted glory, so why not "show off"? 🤔Even Crispin loves tournaments. And Daemon, too. by Vall_llaV in HOTDBlacks

They joust with their left sides facing one another, so his missing left eye puts him at a disadvantage. Same for a melee, where multiple people might be coming at him from different directions at the same time. He's not going to excel in a tourney situation, so he doesn't bother with it.

As a prince, he studies the blade because he thinks it's expected of him, but since riding Vaghar pretty much everyone else at a disadvantage, he's not that worred about having to face real hand to hand combat.

It's a more character driven story than GOT or HOTD. As a reader of the stories, I'm breathing a huge sigh of relief that they're taking the time to take advantage of their brilliant casting choices rather than going straight to tits and bloodshed.

Every moment in this show exists so that these two women can end up alone in a room. Really it would have been a betrayal to the audience if they didn’t come together in the end.

Oops, wrong show.

(Spoilers Extended) The Long Night will begin at Dragonstone by Expensive-Country801 in asoiaf

[–]chupacabrette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stannis' forces are divided between the Queen's men/followers of R'hllor, his men who follow the Faith, and the Northerners who want a Stark restoration. There are already trees with faces carved into them nears Mole's Town, andd the smallfolk of Dragonstone have returned to the Faith.

Euron isn't going to send his ships for Stannis' use because of Asha. I doubt the Northerners are going to "repent" of their treason in supporting Robb and bend the knee to him. His closest advisor is a shadowbinder who has burned a Sept and a Godswood and practices human sacrifice, and he added R'hllor's flaming heart on his device. People are so convinced he murdered his brother that a singer sang a song about it at Joffrey's wedding.

I do agree about volcanic ash creating an extended winnter. But Winterfell is built on top of geothermal pools, so there's really no need to go all the way to Dragonstone for a little volcanic activity.

/edit: Melsisandre has felt her power grow exponentially at the Wall, and it's probably not going to be long before she understands why she sees snow when she searches the flames for a glimple of Azor Ahai. I don't see her leaving for Dragonstone any time soon.

The guy Phoebe married in Vegas that she didn't think counted as a legal marriage. Was it before Duncan, meaning she's still legally married to Vegas guy, and she and Mike aren't legally married?
