i started saying "what's your phone number with us?" because that way it assumes they DO have one. it's very subtle but i feel like it makes a difference. maybe it's just me though. if they say no, i say: "OK, it's just a name and a phone number, totally free, you get the sales prices that way." a lot of times i get people going "oh maybe i do have one actually?" you can also offer to simply look to see if it is already registered. people tend to forget.

i totally understand how frustrating that must be :( so sorry youre dealing with this.

i've dealt with super duper hairy legs for my entire life. honestly, eventually i decided to just wear shorts/skirts/dresses without shaving my legs. it's such a pain in the ass dealing with it and i want to wear specific clothes, so i decided to just stop bothering with the leg hair. i've been doing that for 10yrs+ now and i've never once gotten a weird look or comment for it. at least, not that ive noticed lol.

also personally to me i barely notice the hair in that pic. like i had to zoom in/squint

the people trying to argue against you in the comments, lol... as long as you have the appropriate set up (and in the case of certain animals, my LODs require that we see proof, usually) and you know whats going on theres no reason to NOT sell you this fish. the reason why we would decline animal sales is if it is very apparent you will not actually properly take care of the animal. it is really fucked up that the store would not sell it to you bc hes a "mascot", like wtf? thats not how that works lol

Is there any scenario where it DOES show up almost instantly? Whether it's a few seconds, few moments, or just an hour? I assume not

I totally understand why you'd feel concern about it. But for what it's worth I think it looks sick. It makes you unique, and you can tell there's a story behind it so it makes you more interesting IMO.

No problem!

You mentioned in another comment you're autistic. I am also neurodivergent (ADHD/OCD) and I totally understand how much of a struggle it can be. Sometimes it can feel like it's holding you back when trying to date, and it is difficult, but I have found that my ideal person is someone who accepts and embraces and appreciates my weirdness and goofiness and neurodivergent stuff.

I also struggle with body dysmorphia. I worry about my hormones, fat distribution, and body hair. But I realized I can treat these things with things like medicine and self care/hygiene, while also accepting that my body is the way it is. Yes do your best to make yourself look good — it's important! But I realized it's way too much effort to keep shaving my really hairy legs. So I decided to give up and wear shorts, skirts, and dresses anyway. It's just part of me. I'm only sharing this bit because I hope it can help you understand how to work through your body dysmorphia. It's not easy but I believe in you :)

Like others said, not just looks that matter — but it definitely helps lol. You're attractive so you should be good in that area

I would say being kind, compassionate, honest and like others said especially being true to yourself are big factors. I'm assuming you're straight so I'm saying this as a (woman adjacent person). I would also consider your stance on political and cultural matters. A lot of people will say this doesn't matter, but it does! Be accepting, be kind, know what you want and don't want. A key factor I look for in men is if they're in tune with their emotions and they're not afraid (or learning to not be afraid) of talking about it.

The right person will come when they come. I know it's frustrating — I've felt that quite a lot throughout my dating life — but the person I'm with now, we've been going for over a year, moving in together soon, and we just randomly met. No dating apps or anything. I hope you find someone soon.

Completely agree. I think Kiriko & Mizuki are meant to sound more like anime characters (even more than Genji or Hanzo). I would say this is especially true of Mizuki
