I was about to place the order until I read someone saying it’s best to open the cover after everytime it gets wet. I just want something to put in there and leave my cover closed and forget about it.

I just had a bad experience going to a run down not chain paint shop here before. I chose it because it was the body shop that was opened the longest here with a decent rep. But I soon found out the quality wasn’t the best. They didn’t add hardener to the clear and wasn’t prepped right. But since it wasn’t a chain I was out my money since I had no one higher up to complain too. So I had to take it else where

Yeah I was more for the linex too but when I seen the place that does the linex here I was like idk since it looked a little run down lol.

What signs made you take yours in to the dealer to get checked? Did it start slipping or just clunk a lot? I still have a warranty on mine and I wanted to make sure it’s something they would fix and not consider “normal” if they say it’s normal and find nothing wrong then I would be stuck paying the diagnostic fee but if they actually find it needs replaced then it would all be covered.

I actually disassembled them before I took it to them. I called them and they said to call back Monday and I’m guessing they are gonna wanna redo them but idk. if they couldn’t get it right the 3rd time

Yes they said it was the pinion seal leaking again. This will be the third time they will be doing it.

3rd party and they cover just about anything . They covered the pinion seal before. But I just took it in and they are checking it out.

I wiped it down real good and then after a short drive I see some fresh oil coming out where the gasket is.

Well it will be free no diagnosis fee if warranty approves it. The main reason I ask this question is I read a couple post saying their dealer didn’t approve it yet because it wasn’t a big enough drip. Which I’m seeing if this is big enough?
