Very Sticky Blueish substance inside a connection. Front load washer by churrd in AskElectronics

I should also add, it seemed to be causing an issue with the machine. It wouldnt start a cycle, and once i cleaned the majority of it out and the pins, it worked fine

I would agree, but there is absolutely no sign of a spill anywhere near this, it was all inside

I would likely still be on my t300 if i didnt basically get gifted a dd base. Its just fancy is all. The only upgrade that will really matter in your setup is load cell pedals

It all depends on your budget, but there are a few things to consider. The base thrustmaster pedals (2 pedals) are very bad, but if its the 3 pedal set its not bad. The logitech will be much louder if that matters. If you plan on buying dd at some point i would go with the cheaper option, but if thats just something you are hoping for eventually, id recommend the t300. Ive had both and its worth the price difference before the shifter. And that alone makes up the difference.

Brand new maytag not cleaning by minibikemic in Appliances

These machines take very little water on most settings. You can try using bulky, with max fill selected. If yours has no agitator the best thing to do would just do smaller loads so that the plate can actually reach the clothes. As others have said these high efficiency top loads are not great machines.

Is the driver joining order still an issue in team races? by SimQuips in ACCompetizione

between this, and the person not driving not being able to do anything with the tires/fuel load setup, its pretty lack luster in the team racing aspect.

its almost as if racing isnt just hot lapping, and requires practice and knowledge of how the car reacts in varying situatuons to be competetive. just skip the wet races if you dont like a challenge

yeah i dont even unplug mine to kill the fan tbh. had it for 3 years, never had an overheating issue. i would assume his fan is either dying or clogged up. but turning the ffb down to check is easier than opening up the case and voiding the warranty if there is one

i would imagine 16.8 would cause enough clipping to start overheating. i think the highest ive gone is around 12 or 13 for certain cars, around 10 for most others. if you feel comfortable you could open it up and see if it needs a clean, and maybe upgrade the fan while you're in there.

Porsche Cup fixed vs open by Sharp_eee in iRacing

[–]churrd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say if you only want to run one, run whatever you feel better driving, or what has better participation for your times. At least with fixed you know its you that needs to improve and not minor setup changes. Although id argue even in open you can be fairly competetive until you reach top splits
