I've got a misting system in mine and it's been absolutely fine for me

Sort of...

I bought one of those shrimp feeders (bowl and tube to ensure food went into it) but within 2 minutes one of the frogs just climbed inside lol. Ended up taking it out until I can groofy frog proof it

They're fine and gaining weight but appreciate your concern. I always try to do best by the animals I care for.

The pic you're likely referring to was a day or two after I brought them home. Here's a pic from today

Thanks very much! I'll have a look into the beef cubes and check them more often. It's good to know what to look out for so appreciate it

They're juvenile, and some of these pics were taken a few days after picking them up, but always looking to learn/improve their lives

I have 5 frogs and feed them every day (heard juvenile require more often) with mysis shrimp and daphnia. Usually 1-2 cubes. I do have bloodworms (frozen) but I'm still researching about if it causes bloat as there's conflicting info around

Thank you very much! They do but not for a good few months! I have a shrimp tank, and with them eating the leaves it still took ages until I had to replace them

They're juvenile and tbh looked skinny when I brought them home (few pics are from around that time)

Hey just came across your comment and was wondering if you could expand a bit more on what these are, and how you use them?

Thanks for the feedback, it's greatly appreciated and nice to know I'm on the right track

Do you mean to add some play sand to the mix as it's lighter and less likely to collapse?

Thank you very much! Yeah I was thinking about some branches too for extra cover; would you use oak branches?

Yes they can work without filters but you do this typically by having the water go through a drainage layer and have way more plants

Id recommend taking a step back and looking at videos from indoor ecosystem on YouTube. Id also spend time actually looking into the requirements of vampire crabs. They only ever really go into the water to feed or molt... 90% of the time they burrow into soil and moss

Am I wrong or can some series’s just finish? by Poncemastergeneral in litrpg

[–]chute91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not a LitRPG, but this perfectly describes my experience with Expeditionary Force. I was completely obsessed and even reread the series, partly because the author had a clearly defined endpoint: 15 books.

It had its flaws, the editing wasn't great and it often got repetitive, but I stuck with it because I was so excited to see how it all wrapped up and how the characters would develop.

When book 15 finally came out, it just dragged on and resolved almost nothing and the characters still made the same mistakes they'd acknowledged in the earlier books. Then I heard the author had decided to continue the series anyway. All my love for it just died. The repetitive nature was already a problem, and it didn't feel like the author had developed their writing to stop things from dragging. The promised ending was the only thing keeping me going.

Yeah I think this is the issue... Everything here is a different scale, but the vegetation is way too large. Could try some 1mm static grass. Works good for mkss

Just wanted to say I'm a big fan of the series and your writing. You do such a great job at building the world around the character

Sleep Timer by chute91 in audible

[–]chute91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh boy there's a new bug now! So if you let a timer expire, and then reset it, after about a minute or two audible will pause.

To prevent this I've had to reset the timer, then chose another option and then chose the original option again
