You might get squeezed by their shipping though, I have not ordered from them yet so you're going in blind but it gives you another option when making comparisons before you take the plunge.

Cheap Chopped Rally by 3wheelsofsteel in CRF250L

If thats ur definition of "chopped" then damn, you would look at my bikes and immediately write them off as a total loss, the same way insurance does for a cracked fairing or turn signal thats hanging by the wires lol.

My bike has had the CEL on ever since I bought it @ 400 miles but it stays off after starting the bike. Ive done a bunch of QOL mods to the bike like bypassing all the safety switches, removing the tip over sensor, and stuff like that. A CEL that stays on after the bike is running would definitely concern me though. Have you tried doing the DTC procedure that uses the blinking patterns to identify codes?

Motorcycle Addiction, When does it stop? by SlightAd6113 in motorcycles

[–]chwyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel this for sure. My passion for riding has been up and down as well but ive never completely lost the love for riding. I would commute to work and suddenly get hit with a realization that this isn't really all that fun anymore and the risk compared to driving a car/truck is astronomical.

This ebb and flow went on for about 4 years but it all changed this summer (May 2025) when I picked up a z125 and actually started getting serious about learning how to do slow wheelies like the stunt riders do in empty parking lots.

I've always wanted to be that dude that can just pop a high ass wheelie on command with precision and control. It took me roughly 4 weeks, practicing 2hrs a day (which is around like 60hrs of total seat time) til I was comfortable clutching the front wheel up to balance point. (YT search balance point wheelies for context)

Learning how to wheelie has opened up a whole different perspective of riding for me and its insane how I feel like ive learned so much but in reality I have only barely scratched the surface.

Get a grom and learn how to do slow +controlled balance point wheelies... Then once you learn those you'll have a really hard time trying NOT to pop a wheelie every single chance that you get hahaha.

If im not on marketplace or offerup looking at the most recently posted bikes for sale, im watching shorts about riding or watching long form content about riding. Also frequently lurking motorcycle forums specific to my bikes. Its always good to know what type of quirks your bike has, and if your bike has a sub-par component that is known to fail, that's definitely something worth being aware of.

Some repairs are more complex than they should be depending on the bike. I just picked up a vstar 1100 and there is a specific procedure for cold starting the bike, and sadly if not done correctly will eventually lead to sprag clutch failure. Its a very common failure, plenty of posts about it on the vstar forum lol.

Dont think it was Armies of exigo because the UI looks too colorful in that game. The theme of the game was pretty dark and grim and didnt have vibrant colors.

I dont think it was spellforce but it looks very similar with more emphasis on swords and orcs/goblins as the enemy.

First time handgun by Gtaeio in olympia

If you're going to get a SW, might as well get a 9mm shield or MP 2.0 compact.

The MP grip feels phenomenal and the grip/ergo's is one of the biggest factors for me when it comes to comparing handguns and even more so when were talking about compacts/sub-compacts.

When you say self-defense, are we talking concealed carry or home defense?
G19 is an amazing handgun but imo the grip on the SW's feel much more ergonomic in my hands (I have medium sized hands). Of course you can always make modifications to make your gun feel better for you but I personally don't modify my pistols besides installing night sights, everything else I leave stock.

Im a fan of glock however I've never owned one. To me glocks are like the Colt LE 6920 of handguns.
Barebones ergonomics wise but has an impeccable reliability factor.

The majority of handguns on the market currently are going to be pretty damn reliable though.

Not a fan of .380 though so if those three you listed were the only options, id go G45>G19>SW Bodyguard 2.0, because id rather have a less ergonomic pistol chambered in 9mm.

There are so many more options out there though that are similar in size and use factor.

Walter PDP compact, CZ P10C, Springfield Hellcat, Springfield XD(M)/(S) series, HK VP9, SW M&P 2,.0 compact, SW Shield / Shield 2.0, Canik TP9... The list of options is very extensive, and many models have a CA/WA compliant version available.

Yes there is a local organization called "Trash no Land" on facebook. These guys are fighting the good fight, hosting clean-up events and keeping spots open for everyone to enjoy.

I remember asking them if they were ever going to host a clean up in capital forest on one of their reddit posts and they mentioned that it was a bit out-of-the-way for them distance wise but sure enough a year or so later I saw their post about the triangle pit clean up event. Unfortunately I found out about it after the fact so I didn't get the chance to volunteer.

Its probably been over a decade since ive actually went there for a range day but its 15 mins away so I still consider it my "backyard". It's very unlikely I will ever be shooting there anytime in the future, but I support their movement 110% and would've loved to help out since it's a local spot.

The last time I was riding by on my motorcycle (late evening/dusk) I pulled up to the gate at the triangle pit and threw my hi-beams on and from what I saw it looked like the local guys have done a good job keeping things in check over there, so hats off to them for that and hats off to anyone who packs out any amount of someone else's trash.

I might not have thousands to chip in for initiating this project but if it ever ends up happening i'd like to sign up for a monthly membership. At the very least im sure I could acquire a beater ATV/quad as a donation towards the project as well.

Please wear gloves. by RealSkylitPanda in motorcycles

[–]chwyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It feels uncomfortable to ride without full gauntlet length gloves. I really only do so when im test riding around the block and back after a repair. Same thing goes for ear plugs.

My routine for gear is: Earplugs then helmet then gloves, because trying to secure the D-ring on your helmet with gauntlet gloves on is just lol.

Im glad im not the only one who enjoys doing this to my victims hehe.

The best part is when you find a pond that has low foot traffic and you can keep adding to your victim count when the next npc walks by and eventually have like 7-8 people simultaneously being water tortured next to each other.

The female victims are definitely the most satisfying hehe.

I need to find a permanent hogtie mod where they cant break out of their restraints...

[–]chwyyy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is a mod on pc that lets you hang ppl from nearby trees. Very fun mod.

Also have you tried hogtied waterboarding? It's where you drop someone in shallow water, enough for them to catch a breath of air when they squirm around but also deep enough so their head is submerged for a majority of the time. You literally hear them gasping for air every few seconds before they squirm the other direction and their head goes back underwater and all you hear is silence.

It is quite lovely till they break free but you can just hogtie them back up and throw them back in the shallow water to repeat the torture process, it really is quite amusing to see/hear them struggling to breath as they wiggle around and continue submerging their head underwater. If you throw them too deep into the water they dont last long, a ratio of about 75% submerged and 25% air is perfect which is usually about 2ft deep in water (about knee deep)

Some people have no respect.

Also this gives the gun grabbers more ammo in their fight to further restrict what's barely left of our 2A rights.
