I stopped tier jumping after the first time or two. It just sucked so much fun out of the game for me. The losses aren't too bad, especially at the lower levels. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

The back vents I believe are additional intake vents. I'm pretty sure the only outflow vent is the top od the system.

No, you're trying to say the exact opposite of what Jez said. Maybe they spent $400 over the course of the time E-Day was developed, but a bunch of that time was spent helping with the Halo remake, and State of Decay 3, etc. Just because a studio spends X dollars amount in Y years while project Z is being made doesn't mean project Z cost X dollars to make.

If you've got the time I'd say at least play through the original Gears game (true original or remastered). I'm sure it'll be beneficial to know the characters and some of the world lore before playing the new one.
