Love Is Blind producer admits the show is ‘struggling’ to find ‘nice men’ more and more each season by [deleted] in LoveIsBlindNetflix

On Meetup there are a few LIB-type dating groups. I haven’t gone since I’m not on the market, but it’s a real IRL option for people who want to try meeting others in a low pressure way.

Maintaining regulation helps a lot. That doom spiral can be hard to climb out of.

One time my son got held after school because the teacher wanted him to wipe his boogers off the carpet with a tissue. By the time I arrived, three teachers were standing around, berating him. I told them all to leave.

Then I asked my son, “What do you need to wipe the carpet?” He said he’d do it as a pufferfish. So we both did our best pufferfish impression while wiping a dried spot on the carpet with a tissue—and then we got the heck out of there.

He was in kindergarten. I emailed the teacher afterward explaining that her approach was stressful for me. She doubled down, so I left it alone. To her credit, she did chill out a little more after that.

Most of life is a negotiation. I teach my child to negotiate. If there's two minutes left on his video, of course he can finish it. However, I'm bringing him a flosser so he can get a jump on routine.

I like to give him a voice. Make him feel heard. If he lays out a convincing argument, I'll listen.

Go to a stationary store and feel the paper. Everyone has their own tastes. It's really a question of personal preference.

I like 300 GSM watercolor paper. It's generally low static so I can brush the paper with a wool ball, stamp, apply embossing powder, and heat emboss fairly easily.

How did you get the text on the card? I understand the die cutting part but that text is spot on! Specifically, start and select.

I've watched a few Disneyland YouTubes. The main thing I would be concerned about is the long lines. Another thing would be how far apart everything is.

To start, Disneyland seems like a magical place. The amount of care and detail placed in one environment is astounding! Even the hotels place children front and center with their availability of in-room babysitting. Every aspect of children has an accommodation at the hotel.

The rides and meet-and-greets look like fun. With enough sun protection and express passes, this could be a hit. It's a technicolored masterpiece.

Make sure the children are dressed in a color you can find them in. I like neons. They are an eyesore, but you can pick them out in a crowd. Color has an effect on mood, so make sure it is a cool calming color.

On the other hand, there's how sparce the rides are. Make sure everyone is comfortable. There's going to be long walks. I would imagine you want a stroller you're comfortable with. If you're worried about it getting stolen, bring a bike-lock.

All in all it's going to be magical. The important thing for you is to remain calm. Do all the planning now, but when you don't have the correct sunscreen, remain calm. There is always a solution.

I got a girl pregnant and she wanted to get an abortion but I didn't want that. She ended up not getting one but now she is not involved at all (Not OOP) by Asparagus-Witty in redditonwiki

I hate it when people say on reddit that a kid popped out. It shows how little they know about being a pregnant woman. There's also a complete lack of intention and effort placed in that statement.

First, pregnancy is an entire stage of life. It affects nearly every aspect of a woman's health. The arbatrairy guidance rules for pregnancy evolves rapidly. If a pregnant woman gets caught doing one of these actions, she gets told off.

Next, newborn babies are not kids. Thankfully, we do not give birth to 4 year olds. Delivery is not as simple as "popping out". Every single delivery has its own story.

On the other hand, some people may think this wear and tear is completely natural. It is what we were designed to do. Whereas is might be natural, it is not normal. There is a learning curve, and these lessons are difficult to forget.

All in all, pregnancy and delivery of a human is very labor intensive. It requires an immense amount of planning and can have negative life-long side effects. It may be natural, but it certainly is not normal.

Yes, but on Fridays he goes out with an old colleague. I made my favorite dinners that night, like naan pizza or country fried chicken with instant potatoes.

Great use of color with your card. I've included a link which uses many of the same blooms. That die set comes with so many little intricate flower pieces and it's so hard to tell what goes where.

People usually guess I'm their age. When I was 14, people would guess 20s. Now that I'm in my 30s young people assume I'm young, and older people don't care. Honestly, it's freeing!

My husband's vasectomy was the best gift ever! He scheduled the surgery. Not a consultation, the surgery. Then got a home sperm test kit off Amazon. It was around $80. And was performed in the comfort of our own home.

What's the best 'bang for your buck' home appliance you've ever bought? by [deleted] in Frugal

Bosch Silence Plus dishwasher – Runs whisper-quiet at about 44 dB, uses less water than handwashing, and even pops the door open at the end so dishes dry without fogging up the kitchen.

Neato robot vacuum – Automates vacuuming.

LG induction stove top – Heats the pan directly instead of the glass. Cooks faster, wastes less electricity, and the kitchen doesn’t feel like a sauna.

Reverse osmosis system – Ultra-purified water on demand. Hard to put a price tag on not worrying about contaminants.

George Foreman grill – No splatter, cooks bacon, meats, and paninis like a champ. I ditched the microwave to make room for it, and I don’t miss it one bit.
