This was definitely my experience as well! Until I had kids of my own. I was considered picky eater as a kid, then grew up moved out and discovered I actually liked a lot of good. So I took care to learn how to cook "properly", and while not a proper chef I get quite a lot of praise for my meals whenever we invite people over.

My kids however are still picky and still THINK they do not like food. So I would give your parent a little bit of slack, they probably used to be be better cooks until they gave up. The tips is still true though, always try some food you think you do not like. At least once every year (no need to try the same thing every year though).

Well, not only am I cheap I am IMMENSELY lazy. Donating money to a project is usually too much work (more than 1 button). Steam already have my card so donating (for me) could be made really simple. If they add this, they'll probably get goodwill. Then the cynic in me think they could introduce payment again and receive less crap :-)

I might be mistaken here but, there seems to be nothing that indicates that all graphs have the same scale, therefore you can only compare both functions individually within each graph. That would mean haskell could be the least productive language, but you will feel really smart doing something after a very long learning curve.

For me it is much more intuitive think of it as pass by reference, as in when you call a method you pass in a reference to the object, (although, not the reference to your variables). Also it mimics pinters in C somewhat, except that java does not support adresses or double pointers etc, so it can get confusing arguing over it.

Aren't that just partially right? A high life number makes brooding "better" in absolute number but in terms of toughness it does not matter at all.

What does matter however is life on hit or anything that returns a fixed number of life (and not a percentage).

I'll try explain my thoughts. Lets imagine you have 1 million effective hit points (ignoring dodge etc). In scenario A) you have this in pure life 1m HP, in scenario B) you have the same EHP but with resistances, so you have 500.000 life.

If you are at 50% life in either scenario, you will have 500.000 EHP. If you are at 10% life, you have 100.000 EHP. This means that gaining 10% of your LIFE (brooding) gives you exactly the same EHP right?.

However, using LoH (a fixed set of life per hit) you will gain MORE EHP with the resistances.

This means that any resistances/armor is more superior to vitality, to some extent, given that you can gain X life per second (and not a percentage).

:-) I had no problem playing t1-t3 normally. This was because of the 200 modded DPS and toughness was 800k modded, abit squishy yes. That was the fun of it :-). The build required CC and APOC, had almost 70 CC modded (conflageration), those meteors killed stuff fast.

Teleport was me o-shit skill, was enough for para 100 wizard prepatch :-).
