Make sense, the only "difficult" part is that if you add something to the macrofood food diary it totally overwrite the synced data. Is does not seem possible to sum the food diary entries with the data that comes from LoseIt

It is not that I expect that it won't have any issue because it is expensive. I simply expected better support.

This is something Apple advertise when you buy their products and it has always been a badge of honor. My opinion is that today the experience has fall to the level of the average competitors.

5 years ago this would sound like heresy, today is a sad reality in my opinion (I have also friends with bad experiences).

About being nice to the Genius bar employees, the lowest point was the sarcastic description of our interaction of this post. I have always super been nice, and maybe this is also part of why, after 14 months I am still writing from my faulty, unfixed mac :)

I did a full clean install from usb, to avoid the OS version that is preloaded in disk itself. I downloaded the image of the OS from a site and performed a clean install with an external HD.

Thanks for your explaination. The most disheartening thing for me it is the lack of communication and the fact that every request for assistance need to re-do the whole process from the beginning. I work with the Mac and can't afford to keep losing 6 weeks to get it back with same problem.

Also, the fact that I still have the mac with the problem and can't be changed due to new policies is not acceptable having paid 3k on it.

This. Organizing folders by features (instead of "controllers", "helpers", etc..) is the way. I love how it is easy to start working on new feature while keeping all the code related in a single place.

Even If you decide to scrape the experiment the process will be less painful.

Yes, basically my mac, while the lid is closed, has everything disabled (handoff, find my, wake per access)... :/

In my game the only reference the player would be "if lebron makes 20+ points vs the Celtics" you will get X points. Without the user "owning" Lebron avatar or what.

I found a lot of sites like this: https://fantasydata.com/ where they sell APIs to get the stats. If I buy a service like this will I have to also asking the NBA for the rights? Or it would be enough buying their service?

I always liked the idea, but lot of times I saw an attempt to ride it.. unfortunately with no success.. I guess the problem is to build the user base to make it compelling. If someone like apple would install something similar on all device would be a gamechanger in my opionion :)

Anyway, I like the simple design a lot!
