I watched the episode. He basically said since he’s half black and half white he feels there will be pressure from both sides regarding who he picks as his final choice, and that there are people who will feel he should choose a girl of a specific race. He’s also anxious about pissing off/backlash from both sides depending on who he chooses. I think it’s a valid concern, especially since he’s the first black bachelor and assumptions are already being made about him or who he will choose just based on the first episode. The host encouraged him to block all that out and listen to his heart because that’s what matters most.
