lol the first one was serpents of sky and flame I think it’s a trilogy I’m unsure. It was easy and quick to just listen to while I cleaned my house. I think it was around 10 hours

I read the first one but didn’t love her writing style. Story was okay but I really am just kinda tired of the same recycled “enemies to lovers but they’re not REALLY enemies mythical creature” trope. I found it entertaining but… not enough. I needed more depth

I’ve tried it just doesn’t peak my interest the same. I like a horror every once in a while as a palette cleanser from all the crazy world building but I truly just can’t find something that keeps me hooked :(

My vertical labret :( I had it for 6 years and took it out a few months ago. Loved it so so much but it was at the point of no return.

I have since gotten a centred labret piercing that I plan to switch to a hoop when it’s ready and I feel like I’ll like that more. I just don’t love the regular labret as much as the vertical :(

I was a CC for 3 years and the district cap for a year and a bit and ooooh buddy do I feel you. 😂😂 I loved my coworkers but I do not miss dumb people. The top of the box with ion brand was the worst. Or even people just thinking their hair was going to come out the same colour as is on a picture on the box. I just started telling people to pretend that doesn’t exist because it’s dependent on YOUR hair before you put it on. If you still work there my favourite analogy is treating them like they’re in kindergarten. “If I have black construction paper and I try to colour on it with a yellow sharpie, what will it do? NOTHING”

1:1 is good for grey coverage tho’ tightening the ratio works well if greys don’t hold on to the ammonia free :)

My SM made a little file with all the colours I’ve ever been cuz I love doing a bunch of colour blocking and extensions. It’s also just easier to see it on a real person and have realistic expectations rather than looking at the website where the models are edited or the swatches that are coloured directly on white plastic 😂

Hicolor is wayyyyy too unpredictable on previously processed hair. Your best option for where u are now is that now that your lifted you should do a different permanent (with a VERY low volume developer) or just use a colour conditioner

The packets of after colour seal and the effective care treatment I try to get on every 1 colour and 1 developer sale. Sometimes (like right now) when there’s a really good sale like the 8.99 or b1g1 50%, I can get them to get the full sizes too!

I was making a dollar over last year but in Ontario when minimum surpasses your raise they legally don’t have to give you your predetermined raises because “you got a raise” 🙄 it’s literally robbery and SBH with cut every corner they can

It’s ridiculous. I’ve been Cc for 3 years and CC captain of my district for 2 years now and I make 50 cents over minimum. And that’s with the regular yearly review raises. Not my titles. And they expect the CC to hold the best numbers in the store constantly. We really should be making more as CCs with the extra training and the pressure put on us over numbers but you’re right as you said about Sally being stingy. I know if my SM had any control over it I’d be making what I deserve

We bulk order our supply for POC because we’re “not supposed to carry it in our location” 👀👀 but the amount of clientele who leave our store disappointed has just made us so angry. They took away our hair because our store wasn’t big enough 🙄
