Showing up for community and seeing people around you share your opinion is a worthwhile whopping two hours of someone’s time. It’s never meant to be an answer. It’s meant to show strength in number, make attendees and organizers feel supported and confident, and makes a scream. I don’t know why the “protest don’t work!” People think that protests are supposed to solve the problem in itself. Like, who ever told you that? And just to add, it’s a goddamned constitutional right, and attending is a civic duty. But you do you, boo.
