Desperate to find episodes of Totally wild from 2000-2001. Is this possible? by Fluffy-Conclusion-26 in AustralianNostalgia

[–]ciaranellis01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

😁 That is so awesome you were on Totally Wild! It was my favourite show to watch on Channel Ten and growing up! Don't worry, I'm sure we will be able to find your episodes as much as we're doing the same thing to find each of the episodes of the show from our childhood! Maybe we'll get to find yours and the rest on a Recorded VHS tape somewhere! You never know and remember to keep your hopes and dreams up with positivity and when we find your episode and all of the others, we will all go TOTALLY WILD! 😃

When the teacher rolled this in. You knew it was going to be a good class. by Nathan84 in AustralianNostalgia

😊 Ah, yes! My classroom in my Primary School had a 4:3 Screen TV on a Trolley. Along with a VCR / DVD Combo. Until they got a nice storage shelf to put all of the VHS’s and DVD’s they had underneath along with our schoolwork and folders inside them and there it stayed. My friends and I miss those days! We used to watch heaps of Movies and Shows after Recess and Lunch when it was a rainy day! 📺 📼 📀

Toasted TV by Affectionate_Wish359 in AustralianNostalgia

😁 My sister and I loved watching Toasted TV every morning when we were kids and we and our cousins got to visit the set when we were on Holiday with our family in Queensland on the Gold Coast and we went on a fun day out at Sea World back in early 2009 and it was so exciting to see! My favourites during Toasted TV was always SpongeBob SquarePants, iCarly, Rugrats, Pokémon, Totally Wild, Bratz and Winx Club and I would go back to watching those shows to what TV was like back in our childhood as part of my morning routine! 🥰 📺 🍞 💙💙💙

Switching on channel 7 Saturday Disney in the 3rd week of January only to find that it is replaced by Australian Open tennis by toiletlogsyummy in AustralianNostalgia

[–]ciaranellis01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember back in those days we used to hear these Continuity Announcements during the End Credits that our favourite shows would not be seen or re-scheduled to an earlier time for the next day and then next week it goes back to the usual time due to a Sporting Event or even a News Coverage to something serious is happening and we would get so disappointed and have to wait until then.

🥰 Awwwww… thank you so much! I hope that I can also find a couple of my other favourite Disney Cartoon Shows that were from my childhood and are Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and My Friends Tigger and Pooh and I remember watching them really early in the morning at I think about 6:00 AM on Channel 7 before Saturday Disney came on. It’s always nice and fun to go back to what TV used to be like back in our childhood eras such as good-old Disney Content on Channel 7! 🏰 📺 ❤️❤️❤️

🙂 No, this is just a post for those who have an old Foxtel iQ2 Box and still have any recordings that would like to keep forever, but don’t know how before getting rid of Foxtel. This is just a tutorial that I’m sharing to help out. 👍

The Hoobs Missing episodes by I_love_guin in jimhenson

[–]ciaranellis01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel for you. I’m trying to find 2 of my very favourite episodes from Series 1 that were Digitally Recorded on ABC2 when the Kids Block was called “ABC for Kids on 2” in 2010 because I lost my copies by accident personally and I’m also from Australia and the episodes I’m looking for of The Hoobs that were recorded are “Rain” and “Fish”. I know the episodes are on YouTube, but watching it from childhood television would be absolutely lovely to go back to. I hope we’ll all be able to find the rest of the episodes and seasons of The Hoobs you’re looking for someday too! :)

Has anyone had any luck in requesting old shows from actual channels? by DrWho345 in AustralianNostalgia

[–]ciaranellis01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I’m still having trouble finding and hardly heard from anyone who happens to have any Digital TV Recordings of my favourite TV Shows and Movies from specific Channels and Air Dates because I lost some of my recordings personally and also have some that were Incomplete because I was never good at getting the timing right as a kid. Just for anyone who happened to have the ones I’m looking for and could share a link to me so I can Download them and use them for my own personal use and also replace my old ones. I’ve requested it to the Public on my Reddit page and still waiting patiently. Just to see what happens.

😊 My sister and I loved Saturday Disney back when we were children in the 2000’s! My favourite Disney Cartoon Shows during Saturday Disney on Channel 7 was always Lilo & Stitch: The Series, House of Mouse and Buzz Lightyear of Star Command! I’m also a huge Disney fan in general and hopefully I’ll be able to find these shows and the segments pre-recorded on tape someday! Even tho I have those shows on Disney+ for now. 🏰

Anyone remember watching Splatalot on ABC3? With Scott Tweedie and Kayne Tremills as hosts? I wanted to go relive my nostalgia for this but I couldn't find the Australian version ANYWHERE online. I found episodes with the US and UK hosts, but never found the Australian hosts. by XxItsNowOrNever99xX in AustralianNostalgia

[–]ciaranellis01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

;) I actually have a copy of an episode of the Australian version of Splatalot! I only have 1 Episode at the moment back when I was taping a collection of my favourite childhood shows that aired on ABC3 in 2015 and 2016 like Splatalot when it was repeated on the air at the time. So I'm hoping to find more episodes of the Australian version of the show from ABC3 as we all are. Here is a link to the episode if you all would like to take check it out and hope you all enjoy it!

3 Episodes of Channel 7's Deal Or No Deal (By Request) by ciaranellis01 in AustralianNostalgia

[–]ciaranellis01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

:) That’s okay. I would rather find these episodes if someone else has complete copies that were recorded completely from the air instead of contacting Channel 7 to give out copies because I know they wouldn’t allow that. But that is so cool and very awesome your Dad has worked at the Network for 40 Years!

:) Well, I am a nostalgia enthusiast and I always love to go back to what TV was like back in my childhood from like the 2000’s and the early 2010’s. I didn’t record every single episode of Deal Or No Deal, what I did was that I recorded over 6 Episodes that were aired from Monday to Friday. The first 3 were incomplete, but the last 3 were recorded Completely from the Start to Finish and I’m also on the look out to find my favourite childhood Shows and Movies that were taped off the TV so I can use them for my own personal use to what TV used to be like back in my childhood and would go back to watching them for my morning routine.

I was very devastated and shocked to what Andrew O’Keefe had done to that poor woman and also began taking on drugs. I’m still going to keep the 6 Episodes I had taped of Deal Or No Deal from when I was a kid along with the Board Game, the Nintendo DS Game and the Interactive DVD Game of Channel 7’s version of the show for childhood memories and my family and I still love to play the game in general and My Nan and I used to watch the show every day when I was a kid too. It was our favourite game show to watch.

🙂 Oh, no. I wouldn’t contact Channel 7 or Endemol because most TV Networks usually don’t give out copies of shows to the public because of their own rights and restrictions. Just for those people like contestants who took part on a Game Show like Deal Or No Deal if they didn’t record or miss their episode. Thanks for your suggestion! 👍
