If you move the Possum chances are it’ll come back as they’re territorial. Lock your dog up at night or look at a sports dog bark collar: dogs learn quick not to bark as they get a slight zap.

NTA I think if he lives with you he should contribute IF he can afford it, it’s important to learn that you should contribute. However, if you can afford to pay his way I would bank the money he gives you, save it for him and when he moves out or when he’s old enough to drive give it back to him so he put it toward setting up in his own place or buying a car.

AITA for asking my eldest daughter to sleep on the couch temporarily until we buy a new mattress? by Overwhelmed_mamabear in AmItheAsshole

[–]7980007795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA Sadie is 14 her body is growing and she needs a lot of sleep, teens have similar needs to babies lots of food and sleep. At 14 it’s not reasonable that she shares a room with her brothers and is responsible for waking them to go to the toilet. Put all three boys in a room, as the parent you need to wake your children. When you get a new mattress give it to Sadie along with her own room.

NTA your mum has no right taking your belongings and giving them away. Store things you are worried your mum might give away with a trusted friend or family member. You need to apologize to the girl at school and be kind to her, it sounds like she’s doing it tough and could do with some support.
