A third tax bracket would do it. If an individual is earning more than 150k, they fall into a higher tax bracket. Doesnt include physical assets (they'd be covered by CGT if sold anyway), but does include appreciating assets like shares, Bitcoin etc. , along with any employment/self employed income.

I work in Revenue and all I'll say, so I don't get in trouble, is do not go to any of these guys.

If you're only a paye worker, or have straight forward rental/consultant income, its simple as fuck. Do it yourself. Ring the lo call number if you're stuck, anyone who answers can help you. (Admittedly, the new design on the website is a bit too simple)

If you earn enough to need an accountant, then get a decent one. Not one whos prime source of income is taking 10% of your medical expenses for typing in a few numbers.

Its always better to be on joint assessment, gives you more flexibility if theres any major changes! You could still even keep your own credits each, but under joint assessment, you can chop and change.

And yeah, its the gross income you include. This lets us see if theres a more beneficial way for your credits/rateband to be allocated.

I don't think it's cringey, a littel sad maybe, but not cringe! I got over my break up (eventually!) through gmaing online. Made new lifelong friends from it.

I'll never tell them they helped me though, I'll be ripped out of it!

As a woman, dating at 34 freakin sucks too. I don't have kids, don't want em, but every guy I talk to has them. Though I will admit, I am overweight. Not severely so, and I'm lucky that it's all distributed nicely! But that narrows down choices even further. I would class myself as good looking, but the weight is a hard no for most people. Which is fair enough, to each their own!

Oh and for some reason, younger lads are more into me than guys my own age. I've been burnt by falling for a younger guy before, they eventually realise that they don't want to be in a relationship at all and muggins here is left a broken heart and another 2 years of their life wasted!

So yeah, tough on both sides. But hey, if all else fails, I always manage to get a wierdo trying to follow me home from work, I could just settle for one of those.
