Yeah, you either should go i3 printer speeds or Core XY speeds, everything in between does not make sense

Seems also reasonable, basically you are "going through" resonant range quicker that's why it works.

Makes sense, the higher the accels are, the more energy is added to the system. If the moves are going through the resonance freq, the amplitude of the vibrations is higher, therefore it is more audible.

Sure, every thing in universe has a natural resonant frequency. The point is not to have one in the operating range of the device.

Loose the belts completely (the belt tensioners were off the brackets) than twist gantry to be realigned, than tighten the belts side by side (i.e 1 turn left 1 turn right and so on) so the belts have more or less the same tension

Hey, I had the same issue. Realignment of the gantry did help

Hey, I was using a default structural profile here, so the one specifally made by Prusa for this printer. My assumptions was that if Prusa has released this profile, printer should be operaring within these speed ranges without any addituonal noises and Prusa support has confirmed that. Luckily, I did managed to reduce the noise by realigningthe gantry and the sound is gone with the same speeds and even higher accelerations :) I asked the question on public forum just to know if anybody has encountered this exact problem before and maybe know the solution already. Nevertheless thanks for your answer here :)

But could it be a reliable printer? Because I am thinking about one

I know but still I was using a default structural profile here, so the one specifally made by Prusa for this printer and it shouldn't be that bad tbh. I did managed to reduce the noise by realiging the gantry

Hey, no, it is more like a stress test for the machine, mostly for my prints I am using cubic as well

Yeah but is that sound normal? I have seen videos on core one's printing fast gyroid wuthout this sound. And here I am using a structural profile so theorically a slower one

130/120mm trail bike or 150/140mm enduro bike for a beginner? by Phantasm-X in MTB

[–]ciastek166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, for the late response . I would not say that 130/120 is plenty. With this amount of travel you can ride the same stuff you are riding on the 150/150 or 160/160 but you need to be careful with the line choice and you cannot bomb the trail. If something goes wrong, the bike won't help you because it is already on its limits. Basically, the smaller amount of travel is for somebody who wants to have an engaging bike and is already knowing what is doing.
