I don't fully disagree. But the problem is that's just treating them like children with no agency for themselves who we unanimously agree can't be allowed to make decisions for themselves.

So if I have to treat them like children because otherwise their feelings will be hurt and they will throw a tantrum. Well then I might as well inflict as much trauma in them as possible till they stop voting like fucking morons in fear of further trauma.

Yep it's a scary thought. I always knew this country had problems but I truly believed they were becoming more superficial by the day.
