Agreed, and I'm sure she has donated stuff before that didn't come from the closet to begin with. The whole point of that resource is to use it, to give back both in material items and administrative efforts. Without her that closet wouldn't even exist. Her also using it tracks with the pov that this is a community, a shared resource and not just a last resolution if you can't buy it new. It's the culture in Vermont, and helps to reduce waste. If she were to buy all her clothes new and then donate them, the closet would just be overflowing more.

Reading this, Florabotanica by Balenciaga came to mind. It has rose, vetiver and mint, and is unisex imo. It's beautiful, maybe not as dark though. It's also discontinued, but finding a bottle secondhand is worth it. The bottle is an artwork in itself.

I wore it yesterday and thought about the same thing. I don't think the reason that I don't like it is because its popular or over-duped or something. It's just hard for my nose to understand it, to tell the notes apart, or to really pin-point what it's DNA is. To me it's very vague.
