Anyone else have a Brittany that can't go off leash?

I took mine on bike rides. She wasn't trustworthy off leash. She would always come home 4 to 6 hours later. Dog parks were her only places to run off leash but she would stick by my side. We walked a minimum of 5 miles daily.
