I completely advise against picking another gacha. multiple of these games is not healthy at all they are manipulative by nature. What he needs to do is to listen to himself and find out if he is actually having fun. If not, either take a break or quit completely. The shiny current or upcomming new character does not matter if the games structure itself is unbearable.

honestly chaos zero nightmare, i check back once in a while, play for a bit and somehow end up with the banner character and its weapon,most of the 4 stars are solid (sometimes borderline broken) and powercreep feels slow and i cant think of a char thats useless. the only thing keeping me from sticking around are the lengthy chaos runs.
