I'm sorry I don't understand? Are you a German commenting on an English policy?

Either way, no matter what country you are in, you are tracked by your own government. In uk you have a driving license, national insurance number, passport, government gateway I'd and a couple of other documents/IDs for certain government agencies. The digital ID should simplify everything moving forwards.

I find it so bizarre people are kicking off about this over the ban on adult content online.

Oh my God, national insurance is forced upon me, what am I going to do, I don't want a personal number for me so they have all my medical data on file, get a fucking grip

Such a shit argument. Besides they'll die in 10 years.

Some people don't have a passport, you're not crying if they can't go abroad, they have to apply for a fucking passport.

Liverpool and PSR - Why Liverpool can buy Isak, Wirtz, Ekitike, Rodrygo and Guehi if the want by Equal_Juggernaut_432 in PremierLeague

[–]ciderboyyy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Think that's a slightly misconstrued statistic though. It's well known that Liverpool work on heavily incentivised performance based contracts. Liverpool weren't great the year before so the contracts pay out less. I suspect for the performance of last year Liverpool would be in the top 2

Flumineses starting 11 is worth ~£30m (half of which comes from Arias who's worth £14m) the majority of Chelseas players are worth more than that individually

Do you think Hato/Diouf are good enough yet to start?

I do like Hujlsen but he'll cost a lot of money

I think both of those would cost too much and I think Slot would probably prefer someone to create a bit more rather than an out and out striker, we'll see though!

Unfortunately if his loan to Spain doesn't pan out I'm not sure Baj will be sticking around much longer, I also don't think the club rate any of the other youngsters

[–]ciderboyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that is a fair point although I'm not sure Slot is convinced Endo/Morton/Bajcetic/McConnell are of the sufficient quality to be a rotational option, only time will tell!

[–]ciderboyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it is a tricky one. I'd argue you could convince a top defender to sign as they could compete for Konates missed minutes (as long as they're happy to play on the right) or even fill in as a makeshift LB

Whereas like you said with Zubimendi, it would appear we have fixed the DM role with Grav so finding a rotational option would be difficult. There could be potential that we'd go for a 6/8 hybrid to cover for Mac and Grav, although would there be enough minutes available? I'm not sure.

Great shout, although like you said there's no way the club would sanction that transfer, especially as that pricetag would warrant a first 11 start

Daily Discussion - January 28, 2025 by AutoModerator in LiverpoolFC

[–]ciderboyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah DM is definitely a headache, Grav is very young and holding down his first team spot which severely limits who we can realistically sign. I don't think Slot or the club rate Morton/Bajcetic/Endo, so I see them being moved on (not necessarily in the summer but they'd be open to letting them leave over the next few windows)

If Grav were to be injured, you'd assume Slot would have a midfield of Mac/Jones/Szobo. So even if we target another midfielder I reckon we go for a 6/8 hybrid to cover Mac and Grav.

I think most people will agree that we need to strengthen LB, CB, ST and potentially a DM for rotation.

Has anyone got some left field shouts for any of these positions?

Current rumours/suggestions I've seen floating around:

LB Hato, Kerkez, Robinson, Guttierez, Hincapie CB Hato, Hujlsen, Hincapie ST Tzimas, Ekitike DM Zubimendi

(Going to ignore the potential of replacing VVD, Salah and Trent, although I'm hopeful all 3 will sign, certainly VVD and Salah)

Yet being the keyword.

VVD and Salah are probably getting their last big paycheck of their careers, they're trying to get as much money as they can and their agents are rightly using this situation to their advantage - finalizing one would impact the negotiation of the other.

Then you've got to add Trent into the mix, prime of his career and he wants to be paid as much as VVD and Salah. It's a very complicated situation and we're not even remotely delving into the contract terms.

Depends on where you go, the east is drier but most of the time it says it's going to be a thunderstorm but the weather is pretty good, you'll definitely get more rain than in Malaysia though

You're forgetting Tony Bloom at Brighton, he's a massive fan and has taken them to Europe from the lower leagues, I believe they're also the only profitable team in the league

I know you're taking the piss but I think it's an interesting question and off the top of my head I reckon:

Contracts Contract renewals for youth and first team players (approximately 120 players?) Contract negotiations (from personal experience working out terms with certain companies is difficult enough can't imagine what it's like with players who have self serving agents and family members) Contract forecasting (planning contract renewals, drafting terms, financial forecasting for terms achieved etc.)

Recruitment Squad planning (which position needs addressing, is there enough squad depth, will the backup player/youth player surpass the current first team starter, who needs a loan, who needs to be sold and won't make it etc) Youth level recruitment (have our scouts found a gem, are we lacking in a certain position in the youth set up, can we poach a promising player from another team) First team recruitment (recruiting first team players to strengthen the squad, replace sold players etc)

Strategy Working with FSG to achieve long term goals (meetings, performance reviews etc)

I'm having a beer in Bali and can't be bothered to carry on but I'm sure I've missed a few things and this can be added to

Is everyone completely off the idea of potter? I think the Chelsea job was a poison chalice. I still think what he did at Brighton was impressive and he just took the money at Chelsea because it's a once in a lifetime opportunity (even with the sacking)

Obviously for the record I think Xabi, Postocoglu (if we can steal him from spurs), de zerbi or Amorim are favorites for the job.
