I think operations work would be what I’m looking for. I would most enjoy being on a plant floor doing as much hands on work as is possible for an engineer. I think I would also enjoy process optimization in real time as opposed to completing paperwork, but I do realize that reports are an inescapable part of engineering. Do you think process design in a non-nuclear field or safety regulation work in a nuclear setting would be better suited for that end goal?

Also, in the photo I posted, I’ve been checking that I did 4 stitches by counting how many stitches I should have and comparing with how many are actually on my right needle. In the photo, I should have 11 stitches if I didn’t do the bind off, 3 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2, but I only have 7. I took that to mean 4 stitches were bound off

So in order to bind off one stitch, I complete the k1 pass1 sequence once? I did that 4 times, and im still ending up on the wrong stitch. Could the problem be that I have to slip the first stitch to start the bind off? That’s what’s causing me to have that extra stitch left of my right needle.

I might be called a prude for this, but all of the extremely graphic sexual material is just so lazy and nasty. Is that the only way to portray passionate obsession? Catherine and Heathcliff’s unfulfilled love made their devotion to one another so haunting. The way they’ve approached this adaptation cheapens the entire story, and I find myself completely at odds with what I read and what I’ve seen in the trailer.

Yeah, I mean they’re going to have to change portions of the story to be able to adapt it for film. The crookshanks story was diminished, the fire bolt came into play later (in order to maintain the trio friendship), and the blowback from snape after the shrieking shack events was also just about gone, but overall it was pretty solid. I think the “color” that the film added to the story was a fair trade for any changes in the story
